(NAT HIT) THIS IS THE US COAST GUARD. A POWERFUL STORM WILL IMPACT NEW ENGLAND COASTAL AND OFF SHORE …THE US COAST GUARD SENT THIS WARNING TO BOATERS ..:STARTING THIS MORNING. NAT HIT- MARINERS ARE ADVISED TO CLOSELY MONITOR…THE COAST GUARD EXPECTS WINDS IN EXCESS OF 50 KNOTS AND SEA LEVELS RISING UP TO TWENTY FEET. IT ADVISES BOATERS TO TAKE EXTRA PRECAUTIONS…MAKING SURE ALL BOATS- INCLUDING CANOES, KAYAKS AND PADDLE BOARDS – ARE SECURELY TIED DOWN. SOT- A LITTLE BIT CONCERNEDROBERT SHOOK HEEDED THE US COAST GUARD WARNING. HE DECIDED TO DOCK HIS BOAT RATHER THAN TAKE THE CHANCE AT KEEPING IT ANCHORED. SOT- THE WEATHER FORECAST THIS THING IS MOVING REALLY FAST. IT’S NOT CLEAR HOW FAST IT WILL INTENSIFY BUT THIS IS PROBABLY THE MOST PROTECTED SPOT AROUND SO THAT HELPS. THE COAST GUARD WILL HAVE FIVE NEAR SHORE SEARCH AND RESCUE SHIPS READY TO GO .
