The Fibonacci goes like this: 0+1=1, 1+1=2, 1+2=3, 2+3=5, 3+5=8, 5+8=13…and so on. Basically, the sum of any two consecutive numbers equals the next highest number of the sequence. Thus, Fib numbers are 1,2,3,5,8,13, etc. As BK explains, these number sequences pop up in an astonishing amount of examples in nature.
