MARINE PATROL IS GETTING THE
MESSAGE OUT RIGHT NOW, HAVE FUN
BUT BE SAFE WHILE DOING SO. SUNSHINE WITH A NICE BREEZE. IT’S THE TYPE OF WEATHER YOU
HOPE FOR HEADING INTO A SUMMER
HOLIDAY. IT’S EXACTLY WHAT PEOPLE IN THE

FIREWORKS DISPLAYS OVER THE
WATER THROUGHOUT THE STATE. TIM: LIEUTENANT CRYSTAL MCCLAIN
OF THE NEW HAMPSHIRE MARINE
PATROL SAYS SO FAR, THE SEASON
HASN’T SEEN TOO MANY ACCIDENTS. HER TEAM IS HOPING TO KEEP IT
THAT WAY. THIS WEEK THEY’LL PARTICIPATE IN
A NATIONAL CAMPAIGN CALLED
OPERATION DRY WATER.>>IT IS A HEIGHTENED AWARENESS
FOR THE PUBLIC REGARDING BOATING
WHILE INTOXICATED ENFORCEMENT
AND AWARENESS. TIM: EXTRA PATROLS WILL BE ADDED
ACROSS THE STATE TO MAKE SURE
BOATERS ARE FOLLOWING THE RULES
OF THE WATER. ANYBODY ARRESTED AND
CONVICTED FOR BOATING WHILE
INTOXICATED FACES THE SAME
PENALTIES AS IF THEY WERE
ARRESTED AND CONVICTED FOR
DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED. TIM: THOSE PENALTIES CAN
INCLUDING LOSING YOUR BOATING
LICENSE AND YOUR DRIVER’S
LICENSE AS WELL AS F
