The Puppies Go To The Beach

    December 3, 2019

(light cheerful music) – [Narrator] The service dogs in training from Doggy Do Good have a big day ahead of them. It’s beach day! The sun, the surf, and boundless distractions that could cause any of these dogs to flunk out of Service Dog School. This is Puppy Prep. ^(light cheerful music) None of the pups are more excited to smell that ocean air ^than eight-month-old Golden Retriever, Luke. He’s been hanging out by the beach since he was only a couple months old. ^His half-sister, Remmy, is also excited, maybe too excited. It’s all right for her to take a second and adjust to the new sights and smells, but when it comes time for work, Remmy’s going to need to focus. For these puppies, the first order of business at any new location is to sample the local grass. While they’re not supposed to chew on the foliage, it’s easy for the pups to sneak a bite when the trainers have their backs turned. And the trainers turn their back frequently. Having this many puppies around draws attention, and people are excited to learn about the service dogs. But Nelly and Remmy are taking this chance to mess around. (dogs barking) The dogs aren’t supposed to go on the sand after 10:00, and while special exception can be made for service animals, there’s no shortage of other activities by the ocean, like the playground. The playground offers a multitude of different surfaces, sounds, and experiences. All of this builds confidence, getting the puppies ready for anything. ^First one up, six-month-old Chocolate Lab, Benelli. Climbing on rocks and walking on sand may appear simple, but it’s actually building the puppy’s comfort on a variety of surfaces. Wherever Benelli goes, she needs to be focused not on where she’s standing but on what her owner may need. – Good girl. – [Narrator] After breezing through the different surfaces, it’s time for something that will really disorient her. – Good girl. – [Narrator] The slide. While Benelli’s future owners may never actually take her down a slide, it’s important she has confidence to handle all kinds of new experiences. At first, she’s nervous, but with some coaxing and the promise of treat… – Good girl! – [Narrator] …even a puppy like Benelli can find her courage. Now back on firm land, the trainer is sure to praise Benelli up, building a connection in the puppy’s mind between bravery and reward. Fresh off the excitement of the slide, Trainer Paul tosses his keys to ensure Benelli still knows it’s work time. – Good, get it. – [Narrator] And she happily does her job. – Benelli, great, get it. Benelli, get it. Good girl. – [Narrator] There’s still one more slide for Benelli to attempt. (dramatic drumbeats) The spiral slide. That is, if she can get up to it. With a bit of a running start… – Benelli, jump. – [Narrator] …she makes the leap. – Good girl. – [Narrator] Her lesson from the other slide has her excited to try this one. Having never seen them before five minutes ago, slides are now simple for the six-month-old Chocolate Lab. – Woo hoo hoo! Good girl!
Good girl. – [Narrator] Back with the dogs in down stay, ^Karen tries to refocus Remmy. She tries to get the Golden to heel, and focus in, but the eight-month-old won’t settle down. This isn’t good. Remmy’s future owner will count on her, day in and day out. And, it looks like Remmy’s lack of focus is starting to spread. Luke, get back! Come on, Karen’s trying to focus on Remmy. Kaya, are you serious? Come on! – Kaya, no! – [Narrator] All three Goldens have the sillies now, even usually dependable Luke. Kaya has to refocus, and quick. It’s her turn to walk the playground. ^The eight-month-old enjoys jumping on different surfaces. – Good girl! Good girl. Come on, let’s go. – [Narrator] The straight slide. – Good girl! Good girl, Kaya! Good girl! – [Narrator] And when it’s time for the spiral slide, what was a tough jump for Benelli is an easy hop for Kaya. But, what goes up must come down, and Kaya’s confused how that’s supposed to happen. When Sandy, the owner of Doggie Do Good, leads the way, Kaya eventually figures it out. She’s immediately praised for her bravery. – Good girl! Good girl! – [Narrator] A second attempt down the slide… (laughs) Oh, look at you. Oh, no. Good try, Kaya.
Good try. – Good girl. Good girl, Kaya. – [Narrator] But, what’s important is that Kaya’s conquered her fear, and admirably so. Back in the down stay, it looks like Remy has finally calmed… Oh. Relax, Remmy.
It’s just a bird. All right.
Good girl, Remmy. Thank goodness you’re finally starting to show some self-control, otherwise today could have been the day you failed at… Oh no. – [Trainer] Remmy! – [Narrator] Breaking from a down stay to this degree is a bad sign. With Karen working with Kaya, Paul has to leave the dogs to find where Remmy ran off. Even though they’re unsupervised, they don’t dare to break; no one wants the fate that’s about to befall Remmy. Lockdown. Remmy now has to think about what she’s done, and hope it doesn’t mean expulsion. ^Now, it’s Luke’s turn to take a lap around the playground. – Good boy. – [Narrator] His first challenge is the rocking horse. Karen is trying to get Luke to jump over it, in preparation for future awkward spaces. – Stay. – [Narrator] Luke is not having it. – Good boy.
Jump over it. – [Narrator] He hasn’t had problems of bravery in the past, so this is a new issue. – Over it.
    Nope. Over it.
Good boy, come on. – [Narrator] Eventually, our hero figures it out. – Good, good! Good boy! – [Narrator] And Karen is sure to reward his courage. – Good job! Good boy, let’s go! – [Narrator] If Luke shows the same hesitation on the slide, then… – Good boy! – [Narrator] …well, nevermind. – Good job, Luke! Good boy! – [Narrator] Looks like after only a couple attempts, he’s already a pro. – Good job!
Good boy! – [Narrator] Good job, buddy. – Good job. – [Narrator] When Luke returns to down stay, he finds Deacon is still getting used to his harness. He’s not quite sure why he can’t flip all the way over on his back. Paul straightens him out, and it’s back to down stay. ^Okay, Remmy. ^You’ve had a tough day so far, so time to redeem yourself on the playground. First up is the rocking horse that Luke struggled with. – Come on.
Good girl. Over it. – [Narrator] Just like with her half-brother, it’s a matter of confidence. – Let’s go. – [Narrator] And it suddenly looks like Remmy’s lost most of hers. The culprit? The pirate ship steering wheel. – Just need a second. – [Narrator] Notice how her tail is tucked between her legs? So do the trainers. They’re hyper-aware of the pup’s attitude, and this is a huge signal from Remmy. Karen gets down on Remmy’s level and starts feeding her treats. She pets her and praises her, trying to show Remmy she’s safe. Remmy then has to pass by the wheel several more times, ensuring the dog has confronted her fear. – [Karen] Good girl. – [Narrator] If Karen can get Remmy to sniff the wheel or be still next to it, that’s going to be a great indication that Remmy’s making progress. – Good girl! – [Narrator] Eventually, a sniff. – [Karen] Good job! – [Narrator] And after a few more laps, her tail starts to wag again. Remmy’s done extremely well, and with so much excitement already had on the playground, the slide can wait for another day. ^Back on the grass, the undeniable Mr. Pip ^finds himself in an embarrassing situation. – [Trainer] Mr. Pip. – [Narrator] Because he is by far the worst at down stay, Mr. Pip has to be tied up, to the other dogs. Luke seems confused why he has to babysit, but he doesn’t mind. It gives him something to watch as he snacks on the grass. – [Trainer] Luke, leave it. Luke, release. – [Narrator] Finally, some respect. Unbelievable. Chin up, Mr. Pip. You’re still a hero in our hearts. (Mr. Pip whines) ^Another hero from Doggie Do Good is recent graduate Sammy. Sammy transitioned to his forever family only five months ago, but his bond with handler Bryce has been immediate. Sammy helps Bryce with several diagnoses, including generalized anxiety disorder, ADHD, inflammatory bowel disease, and bipolar disorder. One way Sammy aids Bryce is during Bryce’s regular blood draws. Before going into an appointment, Sammy gives Bryce hugs and pressure, helping to prepare the boy for the anxiety the needles cause. During the draws, Sammy gives Bryce constant pressure to help him feel more comfortable. Sammy knows Bryce isn’t in distress now, but the 18-month-old lab checks in constantly, making sure, if Bryce ever needs him, he’s there. While Bryce’s family had always had animals, at first, they weren’t sure about adding a service dog. The support that Sammy’s provided in only his first few months, however, has made it all worth it. Someday, the puppies in training will have similar bonds with their owners and be just as important to a family as Sammy is. Back with the student pups, it’s time for a long walk on the beach. ^Or at least next to it. ^Remmy’s had a big day, so trainer Paul takes this walk very slow. Whenever Remmy begins to pull away or move in a different direction, the trainer stops. This teaches Remmy to stay focused. During a heel, the puppies need to be paying attention to the handler constantly, not drifting away on their own line. – [Paul] Good girl. – [Narrator] Eventually, Remmy starts to do better. On the stairs, heel is even more difficult for these pups. Dogs want to be on even ground, and prefer bolting up and down steps. The people they’ll someday aid, however, may need help with stairs, so it’s important the puppies learn patience. To end her day, Paul works with Remmy on one of her special abilities: hug. As difficult as the day has been for the young Golden, it’s important to remember that someday she’ll be a huge comfort to a lucky family. It’s going to take work and patience, but it’s clear it’ll be worth it. – Release. Good. – [Narrator] Some dogs can become nervous on the pier, as the spaces between the uneven surfaces can be uncomfortable under their paws. ^Not our Mr. Pip, though. ^He even finds the time to get in some of his best down stay work to date. Good boy, Mr. Pip. As the day winds down, Paul begins ^to test a special skill with Kaya: steady. Steady allows people with mobility issues to put pressure on a dog, to sit down, stand up, or just regain their balance. It’s one of Deacon’s specialties, and might someday be Kaya’s as well. Knowing her eight-month-old joints are still developing, Paul puts only the lightest of pressure over her legs. Once she’s grown, she’ll be able to take much more weight, and may even wear a harness like Deacon. At the end of the day, some dogs took steps forward, while others, steps back. For all these puppies, though, it’s still too soon to tell who will flunk out, and who will graduate Puppy Prep. (light cheerful music)

We Found A Trapped Message In A Bottle On The Beach From Mr. E Part 15!

    November 29, 2019

Previously on The Beach House We are at the Children’s Museum and we’re gonna start 24 hours. Oh yeah. Mr E is sending us a clue. [♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ] I need Corbin to read this. Corbin come here. What is it James? [♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ] There’s a shark in there and a surfer. The day has finally arrived. What do you think it’s going to mean? ♫ ♫ (THE BEACH HOUSE THEME ‘WHEN ADVENTURE CALLS’ BY CODY CRABB) ♫ ♫ Good morning, everybody. Welcome to The Beach House. I’ve got boogers in my eyes cause I just woke up and this is how I wear my hair when I sleep. My sister taught that to me when I was very young because her hair is really thick. But I started doing it because I liked having my hair off of my neck when I sleep. It’s really long so it gets kind of tangled and nasty if I don’t do that. Anyways, welcome to The Beach House. I wanted to give you guys a little bit of an update on the laundry situation and yesterday. Yesterday was Sunday. We did not go to church. We were in San Francisco and we were at a RV park that was kind of sketchy. It scared me. I didn’t even want the kids to play outside of it. So we were slightly uncomfortable at that last place and then we had an ant infestation. It went overnight. We got home after being at the Ghirardelli chocolate place. And there were ants everywhere. Everywhere. And i was like nooooo! I hate ants. So I cleaned up everything as much as I could. And then in the morning they were back. And they were everywhere and we were out of propane. That place was so sketchy, that typically on a Sunday we would stay… Stay in the place where we are and we would go to church and just relax. But we had to leave. So anyways, We left. When we came to a new beautiful place and that’s where we are right now. And we just stayed home. And we’re all sick anyway and trying to get over it. Charlie. Charlie, I’m talking to the camera right now. Huge awesome thing that happened. We got our water heater to work. And this whole time we’ve been without hot water. I love you, too. We get all the kids baths and I got a bath/shower. Because it has a step. So here’s the shower head, but it doesn’t really work. So I just sat underneath here because it there’s like a little step. And I got a bath/ shower. I was so happy because of it. Because I could just be self reliant and I don’t have to run Outside of the trailer and find a shower house in each of the different places we’re staying. And i could just get a nice hot shower. And then while the kids were getting baths, I did laundry. This is the laundry situation right now. It looks like a booby trap from The Parent Trap. Are you thirsty or something Charlie? And it just goes up to the air. It has been much cooler on this trip so far than we anticipated. So I don’t have as many warm clothes. I have to re wash those more often. Anyway, that’s the update. It’s time to get out of here. We gotta get ready for your day clean up. And head to our next destination which Sounds like it’s gonna be surfing. However, we’ve all had colds and the ocean is not warm. So we’ll see if we’ll actually get to surf today. And we’re gonna find Mr. E’s treasure. Ugh, I still have a head cold. Anyways, I was gonna say the best and the worst thing probably about living in this trailer is that it gets dirty really fast. But it also cleans up really fast. Okay. Everybody’s eating breakfast. Laundry’s put away. Vacuumed a little bit. Corbin vacuumed for me. Put the rugs back down. We got breakfast going for everybody. Seriously, this place cleans so fast. It really does. And like, ten to fifteen minutes…spotless. Yep, look all clean. And I got these new organizational baskets at Target for all of our fruit. Car seats are up. Ready to go. Just gonna open up these curtains. Let some light in so we can see when we’re driving to. Lock the door. We always have to lock the door right before we leave so the door doesn’t accidentally swing open. We also have to make sure these skylight things are closed. That one’s closed. That one’s closed. There’s another one here . That one’s closed. And… That one’s closed. That’s a pretty good cleanup. We only worked for maybe half an hour tops. So much easier than cleaning a giant house out. Corbin was just having a breakfast conversation with James and said “Wait! I think I know what RV stands for.” Run van. Okay, so James found the clue at the Children’s Museum yesterday. But all it said was that it was time to got to the beach right? That’s what we determined. Since we don’t really know which beach to go to or where on the beach we’re supposed to look. We’re just going to go to a beach. And I think that at this point, it seems like Mr. E is pretty much just like totally aware of us. So maybe we jut go to a random beach. The clue will just show up there. So, that’s kinda what I think might happen. So let’s just go to the beach and see what happens. Okay, while Michael was driving earlier today, I said stop. I want to go get avocados and fruits. They’re on the side of the road. How much was it? Eight for a dollar? This one’s only seven for a dollar. I’m sorry. And I was like, I wanna go. And he’s like “Oh I can’t.” Cause we were going too fast on that road. But he kept an eye out even though I was sleeping in the back while he was driving he still stopped. He kept an eye out and he found one. So, I’m gonna go out and get some fruit. Kiwi, seven for a dollar! Oh I’m so excited. [♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ] All right. She’s back from the store. Strawberries! So much fresh stuff. This is how we used to buy strawberries growing up. In these little baskets. Do you remember that? I do. It was never in the ones that they have nowadays. It was always in this type. In those little green baskets. Okay, dad’s putting in the radio. He got another radio because when I really tried to turn on or off our old radio, It just doesn’t listen. It just ignores what we do. Oh I could turn it off just fine. Yeah, but I tried turning it didn’t. That’s because it only listens to me. No, I got this because I wanted to be able to connect it to my phone. So this actually has Bluetooth. It has a microphone so he can do phone calls. That way when I’m driving I can talk to the phone and not have to… We have a new radio. It’s almost pudding. And it’s also Bluetooth. So actually on the box, it says 13 bands. If you can see that. So I’ve got all the connections put together back here. Though it’s not mounted in the wall. What if it just immediately turns on and is playing a rock and roll song? Oh, I disconnected something. Because I didn’t want to have any issues when I was working on it. So I disconnected the fuse that gives it power. So he’s putting it in now. My handsome electrician. Oh wait, we don’t know if it works yet. All right, I made crab salad for lunch and it’s super yummy. The house is dirty again like usual, but we are at our new location and I am loving it so far. Not all of these places have plenty of space for the kids to play in. And that’s the hardest thing cause Sometimes it’s just in the trailer and that’s pretty much all the space we have. But today we have an awesome setup. This is like a little mini yard right here. And that’s actually a pretty good sized little yard for a trailer. So I told the kids not to go past this white pole and of course… Charlie. Charlie, do you see this? Do you see this white pole? You’re supposed to stay over here on both side. So this is our setup. Which is very very helpful to keep the kids in their own little space. Okay, we just got done playing at the park. And now we are headed to the beach. We’re gonna go and see Anything we can about surfing. I don’t think we’re gonna have time to do that today and plus, it’s kind of cold. But we’re gonna go and at least look at the beach and play and see what we can do there. And look for another clue. Because we haven’t even find one yet. Let’s go to the beach each. Let’s go get away What you gonna do, huh? I can already tell we’re getting close to the beach. We haven’t really had a sunny day at the beach yet. You know that? It’s always been rainy or cold or freezing. So this is gonna be nice ♫ ♫ [reggae music ] ♫ ♫ That’s a bad bad thing. ♫ ♫ [reggae music ] ♫ ♫ Oh that’s cold. ♫ ♫ [reggae music ] ♫ ♫ This is pretty. But the waves are really big. And one of them has twice sucked Charlie into the water. So, I don’t like that. It’s time to go. Plus it’s getting dark and it’s cold outside. And my kids need a bath. You’re soaking wet dude. I am not soaking wet! Yes you are soaking wet. Okay guys. Time to go. Let’s go. I noticed a few people have been walking on this beach, but we still haven’t found any clues or anything from Mr. E yet. Guys, the way back is this way. You’re going the wrong way. What is it? What? Now what is it guys? We just saw this hole dug up here. Just a hole? We just saw it as we were walking away from the beach and look what we found. What the heck. It says Mr. E on it. Wow. It does say Mr. E. What is that? Is it some type of wooden string? Charlie. can you grab it? Grab it buddy. He’s so cold. Thanks buddy. Whoa! It’s like it got a bottle in it. It’s like a message in a bottle. Hey guys there’s a note inside. I can see it. Grab it. Charlie is freezing cold. Let’s grab it and head back get fast and figure out this clue. I can’t believe we found it. That’s such a cool place too. Mr. E must have made it. I got a little Ewok here. He was freezing. So I took off his wet shirt and sacrificed my sweater to the sand. Charlie, are you a little Ewok? No. No? Just just a cute baby? Yeah. Okay. Keep going. What’s up James? All right guys, we’re back in the RV. The chaos and crazy of going to the beach is subsided. And we actually just got showers. All the kids are all washed. I even got cleaned up. I got a shower too. I’m the only one left nasty and dirty. Charlie’s all warm in his towel Much better now, huh? And without any ado, James is working on this puzzle. He’s trying to see if you can solve how to get this thing open. Yeah, the ball doesn’t go through there I’m afraid. So here we are, let’s get a closer look. It says Mr. E. And it’s this wooden box with a glass jar. And a lid on top, it’s got a rope holding it shut. And we have to try to guess…we have to try to get this piece off, but we can’t get this off. You ready to take a stab at it? Yeah. Yeah Charlie. Well James just recently started. Trying to figure out how to get this contraption off the end. Somebody grab a hammer. Well, all this beach fun time and puzzle solving is making me have an appetite. Somebody get the scissors! That will solve it. No, that’s not the right idea. We have to solve it the right way. The thing is, I swear I’ve seen other people do stuff like this. I just can’t remember how they did it! I’ll update you guys once we make a breakthrough. This might be a while. Are you having a good time making dinner? Meanwhile, as you have seen James and the kids have been working on solving this thing. Yeah. And they don’t want a turn. So I’ve just been working and I was doing this. I think he’s almost figured it out I think it’s just that note. Do you want me to read this for you? I can. All right Corbin. Read it loud. It says: “I hope you packed your flux capacitor. Travel back to the age of dinosaurs. Clue at dinosaur caves park.” What? I wanna read it. It says: “I hope you packed your flux capacitor.” Travel back to the age of dinosaurs. Clue at dinosaur caves park. Are we gonna travel back in time? What do you think James? What do you think baby? Flux capacitor. Did you pack it? Oh, no, we have to go back in time to the dinosaurs. Yeah.Clue at dinosaur cave park. I guess that’s where we’re going tomorrow. What do you think about that drone today? Oh. That was really strange. Yeah. James said he saw a drone. I never saw it but it could be. Corbin saw it too? Okay, well I think that concludes today’s adventure. We had so much fun at the beach. We found bottle on the ocean and solved the clue from Mr. E. And tomorrow we’re going back in time to the age of the Dinosaurs. ♫ ♫ (THE BEACH HOUSE THEME ‘PAUSE THE GAME’ BY CODY CRABB) ♫ ♫

Today the Beach family will go to the beach. Are you guys excited? Wow Good job Ellie decided to go out there. While I was out there I was trying to take a selfie. It didn’t work, but anyways I was out there, so they both came out there. And now they’re out there playing perfectly and having so much fun. Ellie said I want this to be my playhouse. So now it;s her play house. Have you had a good day? I have I think. I was able to get a shower and take care of myself. I’m feeling a little bit better. I already have been feeling the pains of travel food. You know what I mean? It’s always really hard to eat healthy when you’re on the road. We went shopping yesterday. I know. I’m actually really happy about that. All right it’s searching for note time. We gotta try and find through all the mess here. Did you guys find anything? A note. Thank you for saying sorry. James don’t push the mattress off the bed, I don’t think it’s under there. Nope, you don’t stay you stay out of that without me over here. Okay Did you guys look inside this treasure chest? We checked in there earlier today, and there wasn’t one of these in it. You found it. You have to read it. It’s my turn to read it. That’s crazy that it wasn’t in there earlier, but now it is. I have to say it’s a coolest box. It is a pretty cool box. We could probably find treasure in. Alright it says welcome to your new home. They knew we were here. You will remain here for the rest of your trip. Settle in. What does the treasure family means to you? Whom that is your family really? Today the Beach family will go to the beach. What? Meet a new family member. That is your challenge. Meet a new family member? Am I sensing you haven’t told us? Just kidding ,that’s a food baby. That’s food that’s not real. I guess members of a new family? We’re all brothers and sisters. Ellie hand this back to Corbin, Corbin hand this back to Ryan okay? Oh, thank you sweetie. So we’re getting out we’re heading on the road headed over to the beach right now. Everybody’s excited. It’s been too long since breakfast, so we decided to swing by a quick McDonald’s trip. So everybody’s happy while we drive to the Beach. Oh my goodness we found real dinosaurs. Say dinosaur. We saw a dinosaur. Roads on roads on roads Are you guys excited? I love their enthusiasm it’s so great. It’s the best thing taking somebody that’s never been to a really cool place before. Charlie’s helping building sandcastles. Charlie my hands are stuck. I can’t get out. He’s trying to help you. I think he’s worried about you. That’s better. Is that better? Thank you. That’s much better. It’s so funny. Things you do for a photo. Doesn’t the water looks like there’s gold specks in it? Yeah I kept looking in it thinking about it. Looks like gold. Say I am Moana. I am Moana Jessica you look glorious. Go wash off his face. Alright we’re almost done. We got 3 out of 4 done. Maybe we should get all dried off clean clothes. And then go see if we can ride a bike. That was really fun all the kids loved it. Michael really wanted me to get in and go swimming. But I did not want to because sometimes you just need somebody to have a sand free hand. You know what I’m saying? You also need somebody to be able to hand put grapes in people’s mouths so they can like have the leisure in life you know? Lay on the beach the sunshine. Put grapes in your somebody else’s mouth you know. You didn’t put grapes in my mouth. I put grapes in all the kids mouth. Anyways, I think it’s time to go rent a bike. What was the challenge for the thing today? Who remembers the challenges of the heroes of the fourth dimension? From today, they talked about treasured family. What does treasured family mean to you? And who is your family? Because I think in all reality. We’re all related everyone on this earth. We’re all one big family really. So if we’re all family and we’re all connected then we need to be nice to everyone. I think that the challenge today was to meet a new member of the family. So basically we need to get to know somebody new right? Somebody new okay, that’s what we’re gonna try to do. Yeah put your face in the Little Mermaid. Do you have your teddy bear Charlie? And you’ll not gonna lose it coz it’s zipped in. Hey cute girls, you girls want a ride? But we’ve got a helmet for Ellie. So we got a double storey and we got the whole gang here in this place. We’ve got Corbin here in front of me. We got James in the back with Jessica and Ryan. Becca’s gonna be in the front seat. And we got Charlie in the very front. Team Red Is this fun? Do you like that Ellie? This is driving me crazy I keep going. Did you got hurt? This doesn’t have a good turning wheel I’ll tell you that right now. I got a break. Look there’s the ocean. Okay get ready to use that break. You got to shot that ocean there, that’s so cool. That’s so awesome. Corbin’s job is to rings the bell every time we pass somebody. It’s true he’s doing a good job. So we got me paddling. Michael’s over there paddling. Ryan’s back here paddling. And Jessica. There’s nothing right here, so… And on a bike we don’t have anything on either side. I know it’s just interesting. I know I was thinking the same thing. Oh no I’m gonna fall out. You guys like this part like? Yeah, they put in the thing and then they pull it up with fish in it. That’s cool. Look is that the Titanic? That looks like I think it’s called the Queen Mary. They actually rent it out as a hotel now. That’s so cool. Are we riding a bike? Yeah, we’re riding a bike. This is a bike car, we’re driving a bike. This is fun. You know what? It has been almost a year since we came here. Almost exactly a year since we were here. Since we came the first time. And I was like I just wish we could have the family do this with us. We did live stream with the family. That’s right. I don’t think they saw that. No I think we just did face time with the kids yes. Because we wanted to just show them what we were doing and they were all like I want to do that one day. And we were like okay, I don’t know when it’s gonna happen. Today is that day. We got the whole family here, we are all riding together. We’re about to say hi to a lot of people. Good job good practice Charlie. Charlie’s like hi… That was so funny of me. He just said yeah. And he’s laughing. This is a way of meeting strangers. That’s true. This is a good way of meeting strangers. Saying hi to everyone as we dropped by. We just say hi to everybody. This is fun. Not just loudly we might scare them and fall off those rocks. We sneak behind them and yell like that. This has been a great time. James you look like like E T. Turn to the side. This is what memories are made of this is why we do this. It’s fun…hi… We’re too good at that. A little bit too good. Go faster… I’m so tired of riding in this 4 wheeled 8 persons winching machine. You’re the only one with a wedgie babe. I don’t know what you’re talking about. Wedgie machine We should say hi. 1 2 3 hi… This is like a yacht club. Shoreline yacht club. Look at that boat. It’s so cute. It has a little mini boat on top of it. Oh, I love it. Did you guys have fun? Yeah Okay what you’re doing? You win a blue gumball get it. Oh you got a blue one. Go show them. Winner winner chicken dinner there. If you get a blue and you get a free ice cream cone. He got one? Yeah Good job dude. Is it going down your neck? Oh Charlie. You just enjoying this, you look happy Charlie. Oh Charlie My name is Lowell. Come to ice cream on the boardwalk. Hit up with some ice cream and personal ice cream. Baby wasn’t that the most perfect, what’s that? So where did the treasure bring you to now? Somebody’s asking me. Someone’s messaging you? Curious Well it’s interesting because I’ve taken my lipsense group on Facebook. And I’ve been very like professional with it right? Because I think well if they’re here they’re here for like lipstick right? And not so much like the beach house. But what I’m realizing is everybody that’s on there’s seen our videos. I think and come there because of either pins and things or the beach house. It’s just interesting to me figuring out that I’m getting really good engagement on the post that are on this trip. So they sneak behind the scenes. Yeah, it is. They’re getting to find out what we don’t put in the vlog or even ahead of time They get it one day before everybody else. Now you’re gonna get a flood of Beach House fans onto your page. That’s right on my lipsense page. You’re gonna get pitch lipsense every single day. And you’re gonna get behind the scenes one day before news of what we’re doing, that is true. So yeah, so what we did today she posted on her group. So if you wanna know what she’s doing or where we went today. That’s true. Anyway that’s not why I started this. We have an awesome trip to the beach today. It was so much fun. It’s like perfect. It really was. I plan to bring food. We brought in there food. We planned to go bike riding, we went bike riding. Even though was expensive, but not as expensive as we thought it was gonna be. They saw it all. But it was really cool because I feel like we were able to do exactly what the challenge was. We were able to make I think a lot of people’s day by… saying hi to everybody and I think I was making a lot of people really happy. And it was making me happy feel like seeing the smiles on these strangers faces and all the kids just like yelling hi. To everybody we drove by. And there was no holding back the hi. We’re like almost trying to scare people a little bit. Yeah that’s great. We just drive one, hi… What I have to say is here are hard into people out there. There really are. There are some people that just they hardly smile for anything and that’s not us. But what I’m gonna say is. Jessica is a hard person. I hate the world. That’s true, she hates the world. I saw her smile. It was just so cool because yeah, we were all saying hi. But I think there were a few people that wouldn’t have smiled if Charlie wasn’t there saying hi. And Charlie was like sitting right in the front of our carriage. Who could frown from a baby saying hi? You can’t, it’s impossible. Yeah, that’s true there were a few people who’s like… And we made friends with the ice cream man. And he introduced himself into the vlog and he was pitched in the ice cream company. He’s a really cool guy, and we got to get to know him a little bit. I think he was a little bit nervous. Anyway, thanks so much for watching you guys we got way more awesome adventures coming tomorrow. So make sure to stay tuned because this party’s just getting started. This party is just getting started. raise roof I didn’t do that. You just make me feel awkward. You’re such a messy eater. Yeah you are. She made me do it somehow. I swallow it whole. Coz I wasn’t paying attention. It’s like I didn’t want to eat after that. Did it that made it taste nasty? That was some good cereal. That’s all my cereal, the whole thing. You ate for me. You know he loves it right? You guys I wouldn’t tease him if he didn’t just love it so much. Off camera he begged me to do this stuff to him. He’s like…no I don’t. Be quiet you’re gonna wake people up. That’s why you literally ask me before I turn on the camera. So I was like okay if you insist.

    An Emergency At The Beach.

    November 24, 2019

That’s not staying on the vlog. Ok so
we don’t eat the sand, that’s bad So this was a really crappy way to end our
beach day. Good morning LANDing Crew so for the So for the past month we have worked our butts off
and if you are new and you don’t know we just recently moved from 3 to 4 hours away so it’s been a lot of just packing, getting ready. We have 6
kids. Lonnie and I have worked hard, even- Oh no! Is he choking? Well he was putting so much in
his mouth cuz it was so good.
Apparently he ate too much of Lonnie’s yummy bacon. Anyway. Like all of us have
worked hard, Lonnie and I have worked hard, even the older kids have worked
hard really helping us watching the younger kids when we needed to do stuff.
I feel like even though our house is not completely unpacked, we’re not completely
undone with this move, I feel like it’s important for us to go out and have fun.
So today we are going to the beach. We are gonna have a fun fun time. We’ve done
a lot of shopping for the beach like look at my new bathing suit guys ‘what what’ we had
to buy a lot of stuff because we have 6 kids so when you have so many kids
especially the little kids you need alot for the beach. If you want to see
everything that we bought for this beach trip definitely check out our kids channel Our Toyland, Danielle did a funny and great haul showing everything that we
got. There’s a lot of cute stuff in there. We decided to go around 2 to 3 pm and
stay till sunset so we’ll be going when everyone’s leaving but it’s time to go
have some fun. Are you ready for some fun? Yes. It’s time for you to get dressed. He’s trying to get used to his flip-flops, are they hard to walk in? Ya. I should have bought you
the slip on ones, I’m sorry Why are you going to bring your Spiderman
jacket to the beach, it’s gonna be really really hot out there [montage music] Nope, that’s Liam’s airplane. No, my airpl- Look Lex, here’s your crabs Are those your little flippers? Yes. Noah look what we got you. You’re the best mom! Ahh There you go, now breathe So guys I think we’re about ready, I think we’re about ready to head out. We have a lot of stuff. We have our wagon, our cooler with water in there,
this is our snack bag, this is our beach bag, this is our diaper bag with lots of
towels, got a shovel for Lex a Penelope that’s ready. She’s not ready
yet, she has to get dressed. Then we got the little boys ready to go Why is it tight?
Cuz it’s not over your nose Is that better? You’re so cute. Are you ready? Let’s go put you in your car seat. What is wrong? Are you excited? Yeah…
this bag is ready to go, right babe? [montage music] Alright guys, we started getting ready
at 10 am to get ready to go the beach. It is now 1:30 I’m excited too baby- I can’t control it Noah please stop. He said the beach. He said beach Mom
Oh. That’s not staying on the vlog
We do have to go by McDonald’s to get everyone dollar burgers
and then we are going to go by Walmart to get little swimmers for Liam and then all
the older kids need diapers so we’re gonna do that. And- The younger kids. The older younger kids Every kid but Penelope. And Lonnie and Danielle and Noah. So we’ve went back into the house I think 3 times or 2 times? Two. Eight. It
feels like 8. I think we’re ready we’ve decided to forego Walmart
[montage music] We got some Little Swimmers. Noah is very anxious.
Everyone stay in the car while Daddy gets everything together. You excited about your first day at the beach? Yeah? It’s not your first day at the
beach although you haven’t since you were a little toddler Lex
Will the water heal people Mom? Yes it heals people. You sure? Alright let’s put it all over your head.
I’m protecting her head. Nellie I know this is a new thing but you gotta get used to it. Are you ready to go to the beach? I know you’re ready to go to the beach Take her and I’ll get Liam. Liam’s ready. Yeah you’re
all protected? This is Liam’s first time at the beach too. Really? yeah. You want me to put
sunscreen on you? Alright guys You’re gonna take Lex.
Where’s Lex’s lobster thing? Uhh, it’s in the thing. Uh ok. Why is the sun punishing me? The sun’s not punishing you, it’s summertime. But it’s punishing me with its wrath.
You saying hi to everyone? Yes Alright, it’s time for us to walk Are we at the beach? Go run! [montage music] Let’s show your brother how to go in the water! So Noah left his goggles in the van so
I had to go all the way back to get the van
and you know who I saw when I went to go get the googles? Who? Ashley, Matthew and Rylee Go get their butts over here I’m going to give Matthew a big hug Thank goodness. This this is a two-man job and I’m not a good man [montage music] Hi Liam Well guys, Lonnie’s tent isn’t ready
but Ashley’s is soo … party party, party under the umbrella we’re having a party Are you burying your brother in the sand? Okay, so we don’t eat the sand that’s bad! [montage music] Look how cute you look in your new
bathing suit You made her a beach seat. Guys, this is the
beach seat. Oh man, my hips are a bit wider than Lonnie’s! Ah, this is the life
huh Penelope? What’s Liam doing? Sleeping still? Lex
didn’t like the water at first but then he fell in love with it and now he can’t
stay out of it. So, we might have brought three bathing suits for her… Yeah… You like it
this time at the beach, right? No sun directly on you. This is the most
uncomfortable seat I’ve ever had in my life.
He’s hip shaming me. [montage music] [Penelope coo’ing] [montage music] Now I know why Lonnie offered to give me
the stroller.. *struggles* So this was a really crappy way to end
our beach day. I’m waiting on Lonnie and Noah to cross. Evidently someone is in the water
from as far as we can see they’re missing. So, they’re sending out the
search-and-rescue team which is really really scary!
I’m just talking to the Youtubers. So if enjoyed this, subscribe. Leave a like.
He’s at the park. Everyone has to go back to the beach again. It’s just really really
scary, because a couple weeks ago we had an incident with Lex and it’s just it’s
bringing on really really bad feelings and at first when we saw the police and
Ashley pointed them out my first thought even though I knew that Lex was in the
stroller with Lonnie was oh my god where’s Lex at? Like that was literally
my first thought. It’s hard when you have a child that elopes because like waters
like the scariest place… Are you getting everything in? Oh, I’m sorry baby. I didn’t
know that. I gave them to you. I put them in your pocket. Okay, so we are back home
now and if you know me guys you know I hate showers but I felt so sandy and
grimy I took a shower. It was a cold shower because someone, we won’t name names.. We will call her Banielle… “Oh, hi!” … I asked her, I was like… How is your water in your
bathtub? Thinking maybe she had the same issue I had like a very lukewarm like
lukewarm to cold not lukewarm to warm so I was like how was your water? She goes,
really warm like hot warm and I’m like… This is the problem about us only having
two showers… Guys, I burnt myself like really bad. I knew it was gonna happen, I
burn like every time, but it was fun… I mean up, until the end. Which I’m gonna talk to
you guys about. I don’t even know if you can see it but look at that sunburn. Well
that was a great beach day, so much fun recreating photos… The ending, that
was really really scary. I’m really hoping… I don’t know, I’m just really
hoping that everything ended up okay and if it didn’t end up okay. I just… My
thoughts are going out to the family because I can’t even imagine I don’t
know if it was a child or what exactly what’s going on but it’s just a very
very scary. It’s just so important to recognize
and adhere to certain rules that the beach has on going too far
because it can happen so so quickly. Oh my goodness, Noah! You got burnt baby.
You got burnt really bad.. When I told you to go back up shore. Did Bubby put that
sunscreen on you? The sun doesn’t lie. Lex got burned. I clean. You’re clean? Come here…
Lex is so lucky. Did you have fun at the beach? Yeah! You did?
So what did you do at the beach? First Lex didn’t want to go into the water at
all. He would tell Danielle… “I scared, I scared, go back, run, run now!” Eventually
just kept taking him back out in his little floaty thing. He ended up loving
it and so much he ended up going running back into the water. So I kinda missed
when he was afraid of the water. We’ll just make sure to keep a good eye on him.
There’s a really cool thing too Ashley showed me that like put on their wrists
and your wrists and it’s waterproof and I really like that a lot especially for
little guys like him that get away so quickly. I mean he’s so so quick. Lex says, “Look!”
What? Can I kiss it…? mmm all better? Like Noah knows not to go into the deep water,
like he knows to stay close but Lex is only three and he has an escaping issue.
We did learn a few things today that we’re gonna change for our next beach
visit just to make it easier. But I’m going to go make dinner. We’re gonna have
spaghetti, meatballs, and some bread because that’s the easiest. Well I
thought I was gonna start dinner but evidently my wonderful husband decided
to. [montage music] What a long day guys… We had dinner, I did
a thumbnail, I did a livestream, and now it is time for bed. The day was a long,
but fun, and exhausting day all wrapped in one. Noah has his psychiatrist
appointment tomorrow which is very needed so I’m going to get to bed so I
can hopefully take him in the morning to get his blood work done. But, I hope you
guys enjoyed this vlog. I mean aside from the part that happened at the end. But,
other than that it was a fun fun day and I’m glad that Ashley and the kids got to
come out and experience with us. But, if you are new to OurLANDingCrew. Hit that
red subscriber button! We would love for you to be a part of a family. I’m so
tired. I’m like delusional. Do any of you guys get like that? I’m totally like that.
    But, goodnight now! [montage music]

Women Try Amazon Swimsuits At The Beach

    November 23, 2019

(screaming) (upbeat music) – So, today, we’re gonna
test Amazon swimsuits – That are under 30 bucks. – Which wasn’t that hard.
    – No. – I feel like the swimsuits
that I wear all the time I’ve gotten from online
stores like Swimsuits For All. – I usually get my swimsuits
from Forever 21, honestly, ’cause they’re like 20 bucks. – I’ve gotten them, sometimes,
in department stores because I like to try them on, and also, department stores usually
have a better selection for people with bigger chests. – My thing is I have to
mix my top and my bottoms. – Yup, that’s me too. – Because I have a small chest,
but quite a large behind. – A lot of halters will
fit me really well, but it’s like the pressure on my neck to hold up my boobs is too much. – One pieces are so hard. They literally become a thong,
and it’s so uncomfortable. – I worry because Amazon
does so many things. Are you spreading
yourself too thin, Amazon? – So, we’re gonna test
out these swimsuits, and we’re gonna rate them
on a scale from one to 10. – We are going to do the Instagram test. Does it photograph well? – [Chloe] Exercise movement test. – Sand test. Does it let a lot of sand in? And then we’re gonna do a water test. – We are not doing a water test. – It’s freezing today, by the way. – So, that’s how we’re gonna test ’em. Let’s go try ’em on. I like my swimsuit. Kudos to Amazon. It’s not as tight in my behind
as I thought it would be. I don’t look like an elongated worm. – I really like mine, actually. I love off the shoulder things, so I like that I can show some shoulder. – I love this suit on you. It really fits you well, yeah.
    – Thank you. – Usually, when they show… The models are fairly
flat chested, and so, you don’t know how these kinda
slits are gonna work out. I was really worried that it was just gonna be like my nipples here. – This, I’m feeling rather exposed because there’s not a lot of fabric, but that’s my own choice. I’m actually quite impressed with it. – I think this is cute and
could definitely double, like, throw some jeans on over this.
    – It’s just a bodysuit. – You’ve got a whole shirt. – I don’t have any boobs, so there is a bit of flapping happening. – You and me both.
    – But yeah, just a lot of extra fabric.
    – Space. – With mine, I like it a lot. For a long sleeve? – [Nina] You are like modern Baywatch. – It feels good, the zipper
in the back kind of sucks. – This is strangling me slightly. – I feel like this is one of
those take a picture in it and then put on your realistic swimsuit. – There will be sand all in my behind. – We should try our little
Instagram challenge. – Yeah, Instagram pics!
    – Pic. – This is literally the only
thing I’m looking forward to. (cheering) – You’re very good at gassing me up. – Special shout out to Jazz
for getting me to the water. – Should I be leaning? I don’t know what I should do. – I mean, I feel hot.
    – You look great. – I feel like beach royalty. I’m glad I’m getting the pics
in now before we get wet. – [Chloe] Put your head back
a bit, I just wanna see… Oh, yeah. – Oh, yes, strong hip.
    – Oh, point toe. – [Chloe] Lean your hand on your knee. Yeah, like that. – Angle, yes.
    – Butt. – [Nina] Hell yes. – [Chloe] How are you
so damn good at this? (laughing) – This swimsuit was meant
to be worn in photos. I’m less in love with it post-Instagram. I feel really good in this suit, but it doesn’t photograph quite as well as I would want it to. – I think mine Instagrammed very well. – Hers looked classier than mine. – When I put it on, I was like oh, okay, it’s a cute red long sleeved
suit, and then I was like oh, then I have to show my side, but then I have to angle my
body, and there was a lot to it. – I feel like a five-year-old
wearing this bikini. – I feel good, but it’s not like… I’m not looking at
these pictures like wow. – I would say on a scale of one to 10, mine is probably about an eight. – Like a seven out of 10.
    – Yeah, yes, seven. – I’d give it like a five. It’s like learning how
to pose in the right way that shows the bikini off correctly, and I’m not quite there yet. Alright, we’re gonna
do the volleyball test. I don’t know how to do this. Oh, no, I don’t know how to do this. – Oh, Nina, you’re good! – Oh, shit, sorry. (laughing) – I will say I was fine here, but this all in here where it’s like the suit suddenly became a thong. – This suit held up better
than I thought it would. I’m an athlete!
    – Yes! – I’m actually impressed with mine. It doesn’t move barely at all. – I felt like I was in
my long sleeve uniform, and I was ready. So, yeah, I liked it. – I’d give it a six and a half. – Like a nine because I was so surprised. – 10 out of 10. – Yeah, honestly, 10 out of 10. – Jazz, we’re gonna go roll in the sand. – I don’t think we have to do this part. – I hate sand. I do not want sand
anywhere inside my bikini, and I think it’s gonna go
in because of the flaps. – It’s sand, it gets everywhere,
so it’s gonna happen. – Go, Nina, go! (upbeat music) Go, Nina, go! Never work too hard at work. – I have an opening in the center for a lot of sand to fall
through, but not a ton got in. – I thought my suit would
hold up better, it did not. There’s sand in every possible crevice. – Mine is not as bad, but
it’s definitely in my boobs, and I don’t really know
how to even get it out. So, it’s just in there. – This suit is all utility. It is totally fine. Nothing’s gettin’ anywhere in this baby. – I’d give it like nine out of 10. – I’ll give it a nine. – Seven. – A four. – Now it’s time for the water test. Nina, you’re our only contestant today. How are you feeling about it? – I’m really excited. I love frolicking in
the water at the beach. – Alright.
    – Alright. (screaming) – There she goes. Nope. (upbeat music) – I think my suit held up very well. It held all the sand in it, for sure. – I’m wet. You know, it did pretty well in the water. I tried… I couldn’t get a good
wave to crash down on me, but I did get the whole suit
wet and even the flat part. – I didn’t really go in all
the way, so I don’t know, but the bottoms got wet and
they weren’t see through. So, yeah, I guess it did well. – I’ll give it a 10 out of 10. – Like a nine out of 10. – I would give it an eight. – I feel like if I wore
this into the water, it would be a nine. I just, nah. (drum rolling) (cheering) – My biggest takeaway from this is that when you’re shopping on Amazon, you’re gonna stay there a while to find the kind of suit you like, but it is worth it in the end because you find quality swimsuits. – Fun day at the beach. – Do you want a wet hug from me? – Nope, no, no. (upbeat music)
