Fall Fishing: How To Catch Bass (This Works!) | Bass Fishing

    September 22, 2019

Hey folks, Glenn May here at BassResource.com. And today, let’s talk about fall fishing and
how to be successful throughout the whole fall season. I know it can be a little bit challenging
because the bass seem to be scattered and they’re hard to find sometimes. But if you follow the tips I’m about to give
you, it’s gonna be a lot easier for you. So let’s start off with the forage. Right now a bass, when they get into the fall
season, they’re getting…they’re feeding up getting ready for the winter. So they’re chasing down whatever available
forage they have. And that could be for the most part is baitfish. Now, understanding the role of the baitfish,
their behavior during the fall and what they do can really help you find the bass because
wherever the baitfish are, that’s where the bass are. So, take shad, for example. If you have shad in your lake or in your river,
shad are pretty easy because they’re very predictable. What they do is in the early…well, late
summer, early fall, they’re a little bit deeper out in the main lake, and as fall progresses,
they move up shallow. They move into the back of base, back of coves,
move up streams, tributaries, or if you’re in a river system, they move upstream. What they’re doing is they’re looking for
oxygen-rich water with a lot of cover available that they can hide in, where they can feed. And so the bass will follow them. So, it’s predictable that the bass will be
up shallow, about mid-fall and then they reverse that process. The shad start to move back out, move out
deeper as you get closer to winter, and the bass will follow them on out. So understanding that shad behavior really
helps you find the bass. However, what if you’re looking at your depth
finder and you see these blips, big balls of baitfish and stuff. How can you tell if it’s shad? Let me give you a secret. It doesn’t matter. Okay? Really, it doesn’t matter. Whether it’s shad or some other form of baitfish,
if it’s some kind of baitfish, the bass will be there. So this also is true, if your lake doesn’t
have shad understand what the predominant baitfish are in that lake. For example, if it’s perch, or if it’s gobies,
or bluegill, that sort of thing, they’re gonna go after them and feed on them. So, understand how those behave. So for example, perch. Perch, towards the middle of fall and towards
the end of fall, the perch will begin to school up in these big balls of schools. And they’ll be out and a little bit offshore
relating near the cover or near structure, and the bass will get up underneath them and
feed on them. Knowing that will help you find the bass. Bluegill like to get up shallow, and get up
in those weeds and such, and that’s where the bass will go to follow them. So find the baitfish, find the bass. Now, let’s take a little bit more consideration. Let’s think about cover. Cover is the form of anything that’s not part
of the bottom structure. So weeds, for example. There’s really three different types. There’s three… There’s weeds, there’s rocky cover, and then
there’s wood. So let’s start with weeds. Weeds, what the bass like to do…or the baitfish
will like to do is get up in those weeds and it helps them hide from their predators. And it helps them feed because it attracts
insects and zooplankton. And that’s what the baitfish feed on. And the weeds in the summer to the beginning
of fall are very abundant and really thick in a lot of lakes and that’s where the…that’s
why…one of the reasons why the baitfish will be up shallow. Now as fall progresses and the water temperature
begins to drop, the weeds start to die off in the shallow areas first, and progressively
deeper and deeper. Well as they die, the weeds consume oxygen. Well, that’s not what the baitfish want. Like I said earlier, they want oxygen-rich
water, so they’ll move away from that. If you find dead and dying weeds in the fall,
don’t fish it because chances are there’s not gonna be a lot of fish in there. Move out deeper till you find the greener
weeds and that’s where you’re gonna find the baitfish. Until progressively towards the middle to
end of fall you’re fishing the outside weed lines and 10 to 20 feet of water. And that actually concentrates a lot of fish
too. So you can really find good concentrations
of bass on these outside weed lines, because that’s where they’re feeding on the baitfish,
towards the middle and in the fall. Now, what if your lake doesn’t have a lot
of weeds? Well, like I said, there’s two other types
of cover available. There’s rock and there are woods. So let’s talk about rock. Rock, for example, is, riprap on faces of
dams, or they can be seawalls, anything that’s made out of a hard, rocky surface. It could be a chunk of rock on a flat, that
sort of thing. Algae will grow on rocks, and that attracts
the baitfish to feed on. And of course, like I said, where the baitfish
are, that’s where the bass are. So rocks and riprap can be really good areas
to find fish, especially in the fall, because that’s again, where the bass are gonna be
feeding on those baitfish. What is the same sort of thing? Wood is like dock pilings, or bridge pilings,
docks that can be wood, laydowns or logs on the bottom of the lake. Again, it’s organic compound. Algae grows on it. The same thing there, you’re gonna find baitfish
in those areas. So while you’re looking… In the fall, when you’re moving from deep
from summer, shallow in mid-fall, and then back to deep again, look for these types of
cover to find…well, that’s where the bass will be staging along, either moving or shallow
or moving back out deep. That’s where they’re going to be hanging out
on as fall progresses. Now, let’s talk a little bit about structure. Because we’re talking about different depths,
structure’s really where they’re gonna be the main highways where these fish are going
to be anytime during the season. Structure comes in the form of points, secondary
points. What secondary points are those points that
are inside of coves and bays. They’re gonna be flats. They’ll be channels, streams, creek channels,
and that sort of thing. When the baitfish move up shallow, they’re
gonna be up on those flats, not deep all the way to the back of flats, but they’ll be towards
the edge of them, near deeper water. This is why I like to look for creeks and
channels that go in these bays because you get a nice swing, channel swing goes up towards
the shoreline, you’re gonna get this steep drop from shallow to deep. And that’s a prime area where you can find
these fish that are stacking up in that area, or the inside of the swings where you’ve got
a shallow, kind of a more of a flat. If you can find cover such as stumps or a
chunk of rock, man, I’m gonna slap you if you don’t fish those areas because those are
gonna be very, very productive. So look for those areas back in those bays
and coves. And then as the fall progresses and it gets
colder and colder, again, look a little bit deeper, a little bit deeper channels. Look for those rock piles and those humps,
and ledges. And then as you get towards the end of fall,
you’re looking for steeper drops. The closer the contour lines on your GPS map,
the better. Or if you’re looking at a paper graph, those
steeper drops is what you want to look for towards the end of fall because they have
a quick access from shallow to deep, and they’re out there towards the main lake. So that’s the areas that I like to target. You look for that structure and then that
cover that I just talked about that’s sitting on that structure and you’ve got yourself
a sweet spot. So those are what you wanna look for. As for the baits to use during the fall, like
I mentioned many times over, baitfish. So, you need to have the baits that mimic
a baitfish. And there really is no other bait out there
that does a better job of mimicking baitfish than a crankbait. So I essentially use three different types
of crankbaits during the fall. One of them is a lipless crankbait. This I’ll use throughout the fall but I use
it a little bit differently. In the early part of the fall into the mid-fall
when the fish are shallow I like to use them in two different ways. One, I will bring it back quickly, rapidly
right over the tops of the weeds, and right along docks and pilings. And I wanna move in fast because the activity
level is up. Their metabolism as a baitfish, they’re moving
quickly. I’ll also bring it along the outside weed
lines and in the deeper creaks and drops. What I’ll do is I’ll throw it out there and
let it drop down a little bit down deeper. You can…that’s the nice thing about these
baits, is you can control the depth. And I’ll bring it along the…bring it along
those, excuse me, bring it along those edges a little bit slower. And hopefully, those bass will come out and
ambush those baits. Here we are. There you go. I know I’m holding him weird, but… Lipless crankbait. Now, as you get from the middle of the fall
towards the late part of the fall, the lipless crankbaits I’ll change them up a little bit. Water temperatures are cooling, the activity
level’s beginning to die down. So what I’ll do then is, I like to use a drop
retrieve. As the fish are getting deeper, I like to
throw it out there and let it drop all the way down, just straight down. It wobbles like this all the way down. Let it fall, let it hit to the bottom and
then rip it up off the bottom and let it fall back down. A lot of baitfish are dying during this time
of the year. So you’re mimicking that action which is triggering
that bite. So let it fall all the way down and just rip
it up off the bottom on those main structure areas that I talked about earlier. And if the bass are there, they’re gonna smack
it. Now, there’s two different deep-dive crankbaits
that I like to use. In the early part of the fall, I’ll use a
deep-dive crankbait that has a wide lip. The wide lips are great because what they
do is they give it a lot of action. The bait is… Lots of sashay, moving around, lots of vibration,
it causes quite a bit of commotion. The activity level is up during this time
of year, end of summer into early fall. So that’s what I want. I want to bounce it off things and ricocheting
and just being really erratic and causing a lot of commotion, and you can get a lot
of bites that way. Try to knock it off dock pilings or off those
chunk, off rock on those flats. As you get from mid-fall to late fall, then
I move to a narrow bait, a narrow bell. So it has a much tighter action. It’s not as pronounced. It doesn’t make as much commotion. Again, everything’s beginning to simmer down. There’s not as much action going on. So you’re mimicking that action, basically
matching the activity level of baitfish. But it still dives down to the same depths
if not deeper, because the fish are deeper, and that’s what I wanted to do, is get down
there. Maybe ricochet it down there but not a ton
of commotion. Colors for these baits is really simple. For the lipless crankbaits, I’m using a chrome
with a black back or a chrome with a blue back. And with the other crankbaits, firetiger. You just can’t go wrong with firetiger. Now I’m not saying the other colors don’t
work, they do, but if I were fishing in a lake that I never fished on before anywhere
in the country, during the fall I’d be reaching for a firetiger bait because it’s just…it’s
a gimme. It works really well. Some people like to use sexy shad and some
other colors, but firetiger’s a go-to color for me. Another bait that I like to use during the
fall is spinnerbait. Spinnerbait, it does mimic a baitfish. So, during the early part of the fall, I’m
bringing it back really fast. I like to burn it across the tops of weeds. I like to bulge the surface, get that reaction
strike. There we go. As the fall progresses, and it gets…in the
mid-fall or the late fall or if these fronts come through and the fish are being really
lethargic then I like to slow roll it on the outside of these weed lines, especially when
they’re getting out, when the weeds have died and they’re out there from 10 to 15 feet,
10 to 20 feet deep on those weed lines. Let it flutter all the way down, just like
you did with that lipless crankbait, let it fall straight down. A lot of times you get bit during that fall. Let it hit the bottom. And then just slow crank it right along the
bottom of those weed lines. And a lot of times you get bit, especially
if the fish are really lethargic, maybe a front came through. They, sometimes, they just smash it. Man, they’ll just crash that spinnerbait. Simply just use a white or white or chartreuse
with the threader on it. And I like to have just gold blades to give
a little bit of vibration. Another bait that I like to use is a jerkbait. And I just use two different types. In the early fall when they’re shallow, early
to mid-fall when they’re shallow I use like a Rapala number 11. It’s a floater/diver. It only goes a couple of feet deep. I like to just use it as a regular jerkbait,
giving it hard jerks, giving it a couple of pauses in between, random. It doesn’t matter. You can do three, three, three, let it pause
for five seconds, three, three, three and let it pause, or three, two, one, two and
let it pause or one, let it pause, whatever. It’s just random. It doesn’t really matter. Just give it a little bit of erratic action. And then as you get more into the deeper part
of fall, now you’re using deeper diving suspending crankbaits that get down to 10 feet or more. And same action but not as hard, not as pronounced,
maybe one jerk and just let it sit and then let the pauses last longer in between. And those are the…that’s the three that
works really well with these minnow type crankbaits. So, another bait I like to use throughout
the fall is a topwater bait, namely like a popper or a chugger, something that looks
like an injured minnow that sits on the surface, it looks like a little minnow, and you just
give it a couple little pops and let it sit. Look at you. You’re a largemouth. Look at you. Look at the belly on that dude! Look at that. He has been feeding! And he ate that popper. Topwater fishing, man, it is so much fun. It works really well during the fall, basically,
anytime during the fall but especially if you see bass that are popping baitfish on
the surface. If they’re within casting distance and you
can throw that into the fray and just give it a couple of pops you’re gonna get whacked,
boom, really quick. So using a popper can be a really effective
way of catching fish during the fall. Anyway, I hope those tips help. You follow those, trust me you’re gonna catch
a lot of fish this fall. Use them, go out there, catch a bunch of fish,
have a lot of fun. For more tricks like this, visit BassResource.com.

make sure you get the full GMM experience
every day, we want you to click
    the thumbnail
with the green border, – green means go,
    – Yeah. to watch from the “begins.” Okay, now, Thanksgiving
is a time of year to give thanks, of course, enjoy a delicious dinner, and overload your family’s
    septic system. – Eh…
    – But the Thanks-gift
that keeps on giving is the leftovers. At least for a time. Rhett:
    That’s why we asked you
mythical beasts to submit your best
Thanksgiving leftover hacks. We got a ton of submissions,
    but we have picked
our two favorites. It’s time for… Uh-huh. Our first
Thanksgiving leftover hack comes from Matthew Evans. His invention is…
Thanksgiving pizza? His instructions that he gave
on Facebook were…. This sounds like
a dinner you’d have at your dad’s new condo
right after the divorce. Yeah. Mythical chef Tess made… She followed
    those instructions. – …our version.
    – Did you follow them exactly or did you, like, say,
    “I’m gonna chef it up
    a little bit”? Tess:
    Yeah, I was, like,
“This is a good idea. Let’s expand.” – Link: Yeah.
    – Okay, all right. Can I cut it? – Have you ever
    cut a pizza before?
    – This is not a knife. Is this, like, your
inaugural pizza cut? I would bet you’ve never
cut a pizza before. Just watch. Just watch
and you tell me. You’re gonna end up
    fainting into your father-in-law’s
    arms again. Just like
a few Christmases ago. Look at that. – That’s it.
    – All right. No, that’s not what you do. – What do you mean?
    – You cut it at 90 degrees and then you cut
between the other two. You almost hit
your finger. This is such a bad idea. – Maybe…
    – Nailed it. – ( laughter )
    – Maybe the pizza’s
a good idea. I don’t know what that is,
but I’ll eat that first. Oh, look at this great
piece of pizza I have that has a cut
right down the middle. That’s ’cause you made me
change my trajectory. Okay, let’s try this. Oh, man. – That is incredible.
    – Mm-hmm. So you added a little
    creamed corn? What else
    did you do different? Tess:
    Creamed corn, mashed potatoes,
a little bit of stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, and
turkey and mozzarella cheese. This is really, really,
really, really good. Oh, it’s so good. Okay, this is just one
that we got. – Yeah, there’s one more.
    – The next one comes from
Allison Himler. It’s for stuffing donuts. I can’t stop eating this. So mythical chef Tess
has fried, um… stuffing in the form of a donut and the drizzled “gricing,” which is gravy mixed
with chocolate icing. – Am I right?
    – Tess: Yes. Put some
sprinkles on top. Okay, so they just did
    straight gravy. – Yeah.
    – And you’ve made “gracing.” Yeah, we made a sweeter
version here at “Mythical.” Oh, man. Dink it, smell it. ( sniffs ) – Oh, sink it.
    – Oh. – Oh, man, that’s good, too.
    – ( laughter ) You got a sprinkle
on your face there. – You got a little…
    – Oh. And I also wiped my mouth
    with that before. I’m sorry,
you were talking. I just couldn’t look at
anything but the sprinkle. Did I get it?
Is it gone? What? – Is it gone?
    – It’s gone. You have chocolate on
the left side of your face now. – What?
    – Right on your lip. Other side. The left side of your lip. You’re gonna cut your– You’re gonna have
a herpes outbreak, man. And you’re putting that
all over your lips and now we’re gonna
cut pizza with it? – I’ve already
    cut the pizza.
    – Okay. I think that all this
comes down to is both of these
    are incredible. I think that
the Thanksgiving pizza is the– one of the best,
maybe the best Thanksgiving leftover hack
that I’ve ever experienced. And we want to give
    a special prize, but first
the consolation prize that we are going to
mail to you, Allison, is a signed turkey baster. – Yeah.
    Squeeze it all you want.
    – Right there. And then, Matthew, thank you
so much for submitting the Thanksgiving
    turkey hack idea. We’re thoroughly
enjoying it. We are sending you a signed gravy boat, available in our store. – Not really.
    – Not really in our store. Congratulations to
both of you, though. And next, stay tuned
to find out which Netflix movie descriptions
are real or fake. We signed a limited number
of our “Book of Mythicality” for Barnes & Noble stores
all across the country. So be sure to head to your
local Barnes & Noble this Friday to find one.

VY QWAINT LEAVES SPY NINJAS SAFE HOUSE! Fails Lie Detector Test Challenge Proving She’s a Hacker!

    September 22, 2019

What’s up Spy Ninjas! We just unmasked a Project Zorgo hacker and it turned out to be Vy! All the signs point to that Vy Qwaint is working with Project Zorgo. So we’ve got her hooked
up to a lie detector test. We’ve got the lie detector expert Daniel, we’ve got Regina–
    That’s right. Behind the camera.
It’s me! And we’ve got Vy, who
if she lies three times, she loses the lie detector test. And what does that mean Vy? I’m kicked out of the Spy Ninjas! So don’t lie. This is probably the most
important lie detector test we’ve ever done, I had to make
sure the readings are 100%. Sensors to the brain Daniel,
we’ve never done this before! He’s gonna give us a true reading. It might be possible that
our own Spy Ninja has been working with our biggest enemy! You guys are making a huge mistake! We’re almost ready, I need
one more thing though. Okay, what should be the
first question that we ask Vy? Huh, whoa!
Whoa! Let’s do it. Lie detector Daniel right here. Vy’s laughing because she
thinks this is some sort of joke but this is super serious. It’s kinda cute, Daniel thinks he’s like a
really good lie detector. He is, she’s doubting your skills Daniel, she’s trying to throw you off your game. She said cute, you’re free to go Vy. Just kidding, of course not. I’ll take the camera. We were just at PZ9’s training facility. I unmasked hacker, and the hacker was you! Vy we were trying to
help you find your phone, we were on your side, and
the next thing you know, you’re a hacker! Why were you dressed up as a hacker? There were like 30 hackers
at the training facility. We were completely outnumbered! They had a better chance
of finding my phone. That’s why I wore the hacker mask and the hacker outfits so
I could find it quicker. Let’s see here, and the
test is looking like. You’re telling the truth Vy. Ooooh.
Yes, I’m telling the truth. That just means you
have more confidence in Project Zorgo than the Spy Ninjas! You gotta have confidence in us! I do but it was taking too long! Next question, Vy, remember
when Justin was here, there was a group of
hackers getting together. You were one of those
hackers, look at this video right here! Tell us who this is right here. Yeah.
    That one right (ding)
there. Look at those (ding) pants, look at those (ding) shoes, and look
at that (ding) ring! Who is that hacker? That hacker was me. (gasp) Is she telling the truth? I don’t know if I wanna know the truth. The machine says… (intense music) True. (gasps) This is the second time we
caught you as a hacker now. – [Regina] Behind our backs! There is a reason, you guys
just have to trust me, you– Yeah, yeah we’ll trust you once you answer all these questions. Vy since that you admit that is you, why were you standing there? What was the mission for that day? We had to figure out who PZ9 was, and that’s what I’m doing. – [Chad] Is she telling the truth Daniel? Wait a minute, what? The machine says it’s half true. What does that mean Daniel? There most be something more. What are you not telling us? I answered the question. There’s something else
you’re hiding I think. You know what Vy (sigh),
right now we’ll just count that half true as a truth but if you do that again, I’m
just gonna count it as a lie. Full truth only. How long have you been
a Project Zorgo member? Our whole lives, since we were married? Justin did marry us after all, and he had some involvement with Project Zorgo. I’m glad you acknowledge
that your life started when you married me. (dramatic music) That’s not the point Vy! Quit changing the subject. The answer is, three months. Daniel.
Oh my gosh. I don’t know that sounds suspicious. Look at that reading, the heart rate. You can see that, right Chad?
Yeah. But I think. It’s the truth! It says true.
You think? Daniel you need to be sure! Were you moving your temples? No, no, what?! She was moving her finger a little bit. It does say 98% true. But still Vy, for three
months you never told us. Why would you not tell us? There’s a reason why
I can’t tell you guys! Ugh, just next question!
Tell us Vy! Vy. Hey, hey!
Whoooa, she’s– She did that on purpose!
No, am I– She removed her temple! I have to when I talk, my temples move! – [Chad] Mmm. Mmm, I don’t know. Why did you join Project Zorgo? Just tell us why! Gosh darn it. You guys I can’t tell you, you– (gasps) Daniel, maybe you gotta upgrade
your equipment, it’s just not working properly.
    No. I can’t tell you guys that. It’s not the right time;
you guys have to trust me. When is the right time, Vy, never? If you don’t give us an
answer, that’s a lie! Are you sure you don’t wanna tell us? Three lies and you’re out
Vy, you really wanna do this? (intense music) Yes, I’m sure, I-I-I can’t, I can’t do it. – [Chad] Lie number one, okay, let’s go. We gotta go. Okay what– What is up with her? I can’t believe she didn’t tell us what the true answer was. We’re like a family here, we can’t keep secrets from each other! And I can’t believe
she won’t even tell me, her husband, she’s been
doing this for three months and she hasn’t even
told me this whole time. I definitely don’t wanna kick
her out of the Spy Ninjas, she better not lie again. Two more lies, we have
to kick her out because being a Spy Ninja means
honesty, loyalty, and bravery. If you’re not honest,
you can’t be a Spy Ninja! So she’s gotta keep telling the truth. Next question Vy. Whoa, wait a minute, I just
realized, I was undercover as a Project Zorgo
member a few months back! Were we both working with
Project Zorgo, together?! And remember when they
gave you the exit ceremony? That was like, one or
two months ago Daniel. They made you eat dog food. Was that your idea? (Regina gasps) You planned out all those
horrible things to happen to me! Tell us the truth Vy. I was there, I was hiding in the box! She was there! (claps) I was hiding in the box, there’s proof! On my vlog channel! You were probably sitting
there laughing at me. I was trying to help you, it
would have been a lot worse if I didn’t help you. They would’ve given you worms. Is Vy telling the truth Daniel? Looks like… (intense music) It’s true, thank goodness. I got the next question. You were the only one that
has ever snuck into the Project Zorgo basement. You know the one with the
black walls where they did the exit ceremonies, why is that? Regina, do you not watch my vlog? I do, I do, everyday! Let me see your phone Regina,
you’re not subscribed! Sorry, subscribe again! Oh, okay, here’s what you do. You go underneath this video,
hit the subscribe button, make it turn gray, make sure the bell symbol is ringing also, here. Oh. Now that you guys are all
subscribed, how I got into the basement, is that I followed PZ2! And he went under that
little tunnel thing that only little tiny people can
fit, and that’s how I get in! It’s almost as if you told Project Zorgo, “Make the entrances small
so we can’t follow you.” What are you talking about?! How do you think I have
that kind of control over Project Zorgo? – [Chad] Is she telling the truth? (intense music) It looks like she’s telling the truth. We’ve got some juicier questions coming. You remember that video we
made where we were trying to open that unbreakable
box filled with $10 000? I came home the other day
and you know what I found? This!
(Regina gasps) And it’s empty! Do you know what happened to the $10 000? – [Regina] She’s struggling
guys, look at her. Her heart rate’s increasing. She’s getting all sweaty. (groans) (intense music) I took it outta there. (gasps) Wait.
You took the $10 000?! She lying, she telling the truth? Let’s see let’s just see.
    Oh dear, ah. It’s true!
Oh no. How could you do that? Why would you steal from the Spy Ninjas? There’s a good reason for this. I can’t tell you guys! The next question is, why did you steal it Vy? Uh. – [Regina] Oh my gosh. Tell the truth. (intense music) You’ve already told one
lie by not answering. I can’t tell you guys that! You have to!
Vy. If you don’t tell us, that’s
gonna count as another lie Vy, that’s gonna be two lies! You guys know I am very logical. I wouldn’t do anything crazy. We didn’t know that you
were with Project Zorgo. Joining Project Zorgo is not very logical. Ooooh.
And taking money! – [Regina] Ooooh!. And not answering the question! – [Regina] Ooooh! And not telling us everything. – [Regina] Ooh. Ugh, you guys, just trust me on this! I can’t tell you guys right
now, but there’s a good reason for this, you guys gotta trust me! Vy, you got three seconds
to tell us, otherwise it counts as another lie. Three. – [Chad & Daniel] Two, one. (intense music) Ugh, Vy! That’s a lie! That’s lie number two! Oh my gosh.
I can’t do it! You’re one lie away before being kicked out of the Spy Ninjas. We don’t wanna kick you out of the Spy Ninjas, okay?
No. We want you to be with
the Spy Ninjas forever! Just tell the truth from now on okay? Please, we need you. I can’t do this.
Be on our side. Give me the camera. What would she still the $10 000 for? I don’t think she’s in any
debt, she doesn’t owe anybody any money, I have no idea! Wait, how much are Teslas? She wants a new Tesla right? Ever since Joseph Banks transformed out into Delorean.
    That’s true! You can’t get a new
Tesla for $10 000 though so I don’t think that’s it. Maybe she’s planning my birthday! Could be. Uh, no your birthday
already passed, I think. That’s true, it was in March. I knew that. She’s definitely up to
something, let’s just keep asking more questions, she’s
one away from being kicked out. I really hope she doesn’t lie anymore, I don’t wanna kick her out. Have you been working
for PZ9 this whole time? Did you give PZ9 your
phone, was this all a trick? You left it in the house on “purpose”. How could I have left it on purpose? Chad was the one that put it up there. Yeah but you were pretending
your phone didn’t get any signal, and you were like, “Chad, put it up some more high.” You tricked me into putting it up there. Great impression Chad, yeah. You know Chad, Daniel
was the one who was like, “We need more signal” and why
would I want work with PZ9? (rock music)
    He’s loud, he’s obnoxious, I can’t stand him! He’s egotistical, he’s loud,
did I say that already? He thinks he’s the best fighter, he sucks! He calls me a spicy senorita, I don’t even like this guy!
Okay, okay okay okay! Okay? So you’re saying, you didn’t put the phone there on purpose. No. – [Chad and Regina] What does it say? Only one way to find out. (intense music) Vy, oh, oh. You’re telling the truth. Oh. You’re telling the truth.
Okay. Wait, Daniel, why did you hesitate? Is this whole entire thing even necessary if Daniel is not even sure about his readings right now? Just, I never seen
somebody so nervous before. The readings! I’m not nervous!
I feel the sweat. I don’t sweat! – [Chad] Your lie detector
test is falling apart! I don’t even know if
it’s working right now. Maybe that’s what it is! You need to keep your head still okay? I think you’re moving it on
purpose to get false readings! Yeah. You’re hiding something. (tapping) Next question.
(phone rings) Regina, your phone’s ringing. – [Regina] Who is it? It’s Vy calling! – [Regina] Vy? How are you calling Regina right now? I don’t know, who has my phone? PZ9 has–
PZ9! He’s calling you Regina, using Vy’s phone! Answer it! (beep)
PZ9, what’s up? Just checking in on my
least favorite Spy Ninjas! Where’s my phone PZ9? Give me back my phone!
Hold on, hold on. What’s that dumb looking
thing on your head Vy? It’s a lie detector test PZ9. Oooh, looks like someone
lost their Spy Ninja trust! Thanks for letting us know about Vy. You’re oh-so-welcome Daniel. Hold that note out Daniel. Did you just thank PZ9?
Yeah. What is going on here? PZ9 remember in the board game challenge? The winner got the third envelope? Well it turns out Vy
swapped it, with a fake one! But we finally got the
real one right here. Oooh, what a dirty trick
Vy, you’re so evil, hahaha! And it says, Vy Qwaint has
betrayed the Spy Ninjas, you’re not holding it right Daniel. Anyway it says that Vy Qwaint
has betrayed the Spy Ninjas. He can’t even hold this paper right. How are you trusting him to
give me the lie detector test? It’s difficult, okay? Alright PZ9, I’m gonna hang up. Chad, I’ve been trying to
figure out how to do thumbna– Vy, answer this question right now. How did PZ9 get that note,
why would he send us that? That note right there
is not completely true. PZ9 wrote that. Let’s see, is it true? Daniel, read it carefully. I’m trying, I need complete silence. (hushes)
I’m quiet. (intense music) It’s true, it’s true.
(gasps) Okay. So PZ9 did write that note. So Vy, okay my question is, why did you have the
ending of the third clue in your backpack, which we stole? – [Regina] Were you trying
to cover up your tracks? Yes, I swapped the third
envelope out during the board challenge because PZ9
has some tricks up his sleeve! You guys shouldn’t trust
him, you Spy Ninjas at home should not trust him either. Let’s see if she’s telling the truth here. Are you smelling the truth Daniel? Does it smell like a lie?
What does it smell like? My lie detector shirt
smells a little different for some reason, it’s like
someone was wearing it. Anyway… (intense music) It’s the truth! (gasps) Okay okay okay okay.
It’s true. You’re on a roll with the truths Vy, I’m liking the way this is going because one more lie, and we have to kick you out. Regina take over! When you were in the park,
you were talking to someone. Who were you talking to,
why were you all sketchy? In the park, you guys were following me? That’s how we got the envelope. Who took the envelope out
of my backpack, Daniel? Well, no I jus–
Chad, Regina? Who did it? Chad tried at first and he failed. And then I tried and I succeeded. I can’t even trust you
Spy Ninjas, oh my gosh! You can’t trust us? We can’t trust you girl!
Yeah! You guys are following me. Answer the question, who are
you talking to on the laptop? Who do you think? Your mom?
No. Mama Vy? Answer the question Vy,
who were you talking to on the laptop? (intense music) Former you guys, a hacker. (gasps) Is this hacker your friend, was it PZ2? I actually don’t know his number. Alright let’s see here. Okay, lie detector is saying. It’s true. Talking to a hacker, again! She’s replacing us with hackers. You were saying some
weird stuff on the laptop to the hacker, you were
like talking about pizza. (gasps) That’s not weird. Yeah remember when she
ordered that pizza that one time when we were sneaking
up on her in the backyard, the pizza never came! (gasps) You also mentioned
pepperoni, and zucchini, what the heck does this stuff mean? They’re toppings. I don’t know Vy, zucchini’s
not a pizza topping. Some people might like
zucchinis as pizza toppings. Not you. And especially not– – [Regina & Daniel] Extra cheese. – [Chad] Oooh! What does pepperoni, zucchini,
and extra cheese mean? What is that? Is that some sort of like,
language you’re speaking? It means it’s a code. Code? Yeah, a PZ code. (gasps) You know their codes? I don’t even know their
codes, you know I used to work for Project Zorgo! I got a question, zucchini? That’s not a pizza topping. Extra cheese, you’re lactose intolerant. You can’t eat any cheese. Tell me, what is the code? Keep your hands still. Pepperoni stands for Project. Zucchinis stand for Zorgo. That makes sense. Okay but– – [Chad & Daniel] Extra cheese. Project Zorgo eats crackers. No, that’s actually straight forward. Slang, street term, cheese,
    cheddar, Bill, William, Lincoln, Benjamins.
Wait. Money, oh yeah cheese I
have heard people say. I got the cheese, like I got money. That’s like an old slang term. It was probably sort of from
the 80s (sarcastic laugh). – [Regina] Oh gosh, the worst. Wait Regina, the 80s were awesome! Not that I was old enough to know. Extra cheese, you were
telling them that you had the $10 000, is she telling the truth? Okay. Extra cheese means money? (intense music) Yes, it’s true! We now know the answer
to the last question that you weren’t willing to answer. You were giving the $10
000 to Project Zorgo. – [Regina] Well this is
even worse than we thought, we thought we were just
gonna try and get a new car. Yeah this is really bad, I thought you were buying
me a birthday present. Biggest question yet Vy,
why did you give the $10 000 to Project Zorgo? I, you guys, I can’t tell you this one! Vy you have to tell us, we don’t want to kick you
out of the Spy Ninjas okay? This would be the third lie if
you don’t tell us the truth. So just tell us the truth so we don’t have to kick you
out of the Spy Ninjas please. We won’t be mad, just
please tell us, okay? Yeah we won’t be mad.
Fine. We need you on our team. – [Regina] Don’t you wanna be a Spy Ninja? I do, I’m the original Spy Ninja! It’s just gonna ruin
everything, all my plans that I’ve been working so hard on
for the past three months! I can’t, I can’t tell you guys! Vy, you have to tell us
otherwise it counts as a lie! You know how this works! You’re being so suspicious,
    I don’t like it! Yeah.
You have to believe me, you guys have to trust me, I can’t do this! You know what that means,
that means it’s a lie if you don’t answer and then we
have to, we have to kick you out of the Spy Ninjas. Yeah. Don’t make me say it, I
can’t do it, I can’t do it. We can’t keep, this
can’t go on all night Vy, will you answer the question or not? (intense music) I can’t, I can’t. – [Regina] Oh gosh. Okay then, the test is over then. That’s it, that’s it,
that’s three, that counts as three lies. I can’t! We both agreed when we
made the Spy Ninjas that we’d always be honest with each other. We would not lie, honesty,
integrity, bravery. It’s what the whole Spy
Ninja team is built on! It’s loyalty not integrity. You’re not even saying it right! I know, something like that. But integrity, it has to do with honesty, it’s fine. Vy I really don’t wanna do this, but. You don’t have to do this. – [Regina] Oooh. Here, pack your stuff and
leave the Spy Ninja safe house. You guys are doing this, you
guys are actually doing this? I mean, Vy you did it, you
didn’t tell us the truth. We have to follow the rules. You’re working with Project
Zorgo, our worst enemy, the opposite of a Spy Ninja! – [Regina] Oh. Okay guys let’s go talk. Guys are we doing the right thing? I don’t know this seems
really bad, and seems wrong. It really does, she
looked so sad actually. Well I’m sad too, I don’t
wanna kick her out but, like we said, Project
Zorgo is our worst enemy, she’s working for them. Well maybe we should give
her another chance guys, I don’t know, I feel
really horrible about this. If there was a good
reason she was working for Project Zorgo, she would have told us. I know, I don’t see why.
That’s true. She has to be so secretive about it. Honesty is like the key
tenant of being a Spy Ninja, you have to be honest. She’s not being honest. (sighs) Alright, well, let’s
go say goodbye to her. (sad piano music) It’s time to say goodbye. Here, I’ll pack your sewing kit. Remember this sewing kit Regina? I used this to sew your
bear back together, here you keep it.
What? So when Mr, bear, use to sew his leg back. You keep that. Oh my gosh this, Regina, she’s, she’s sad. Daniel, you were the first
person that we accepted in as a Project Zorgo member. Mhm. I can’t believe this is happening. I mean I can’t believe it either Vy. I seriously never thought
this day would come. Then why are you doing this? I don’t wanna leave the Spy Ninjas. I don’t want you to either but it’s just, you’re working with Project Zorgo. How can we keep you on the team? (rustling) You say your goodbye Chad. Vy, I, I don’t know how to feel about this ’cause, (sighs) I-I feel, I
feel just heart broken that you’re, that we have to
force you to leave like, why did you lie, why won’t
you just tell us the truth? Just tell us what’s happening. I know-I know you’re a
good person inside but for some reason, yo-you’re
doing something and you’re not telling us the
truth, just, just tell us the truth so we don’t
need to kick you out! I can’t, it’s for your own
good, it’s not the time yet. I can’t do it, you have
to trust me you guys. I-I (sighs) I do trust you
but (sighs) the Spy Ninjas have rules, we have to obey our own rules. We can’t lie to each other Vy, that’s the most important thing. (sobs) Okay, (sniffles) I’ll just go then. Yeah Vy we really are going to miss you. Maybe, just quit Project
Zorgo one day or something. Just, just tell us,
tell us what’s going on. It’s, it’s not the right time. You guys have to trust me. We’ll, we’ll see each other again. – [Regina] Okay. (dramatic orchestral music)

2018 IFA Boaters Championship – Hopedale, LA – Part 2

    September 22, 2019

    – [Announcer] Last
week we launched 119 boats from
Hopedale, Louisiana. For day one of the 2018 IFA
Redfish Tour Championship presented by Cabela’s. At the end of day one, Ryan Rickard and Dustin
Tillett have the advantage. Going into the final day we’ll
watch as the top two teams battle it on the
Louisiana Bayou. There’s a trophy, the title and a whole bunch of
money on the line. The action starts right now. (upbeat music) – [Announcer] The Inshore
Fishing Association and Cabela’s present the oldest, largest, and most prestigious
Redfishing Tournament series in the nation. The IFA Redfish Tour. Welcome to Southern
Louisiana for day two of the 2018 IFA
Redfish Tour Championship presented by Cabela’s. Yesterday morning launched
a field of 119 teams and at the end of day one, Florida’s Ryan Rickard
and Dustin Tillett were sitting on top. – This is definitely
where we want to be, We’re on the right fish I think, we can make it
happen again today especially like Ryan said
with these weather conditions. I think we’re in a good spot. – So we just made about a 50 mile run, trying to set up here. You wanna power
pull-down for a second. Just trying to kinda set up, get some water put
in our live well, get everything kinda ready for what we’re wanting’ to do. Sorry ’bout to lose our number. Our pull-down. We get settled for a few minutes and as soon as we settled and get the water
level where we want and get it kinda right, then we’ll start fishing, but took us about I don’t know, right at an hour to
get where we’re at. And I’m liking the
situation already. We got this little, little
pocket of clean water. These fish should be
funneled in this clean water. Everything else is muddy boy, I mean muddy muddy water so. We’re gonna go to work
in ’bout five minutes. Start making suckers come out. – [Announcer] While Ryan
and Dustin get set up, we’ll check in with the
second place team of Kevin Akin and Dwayne Eschete. – We’re sitting here on day
of the IFA Championships in Hopedaly, Louisiana. We’re sitting in
    second right now, we’re I don’t know,
quarter pound out of first. We got lucky yesterday and
caught a nine and a half. We got some big fish
around it’s just not a lot. We’re gonna make a big run, if we get some big
ones in front of us, and lucky enough they measure, we’ll be in good
shape but if not, we’ll have a fun day regardless. (dramatic music) – Yesterday they kind of like, these fish over here
for whatever reason aren’t doing like they
typically do in October. – Stingray looks good. – Where they’re kind
of schooled up moving around doing their thing and they’re really kinda
just sitting on windy banks where the tide and the
wind are rolling with it. So we really just
gotta get in position, make a drift through it, catch what we catch, go by and come back and do it again. This is a long of long drifts, and not a lot of fish but you
can get a bit right in here but we’ll see how many
opportunities we get today. Right now we got
    zero opportunities. We just working
for one right now. I checked my drag,
you check your drag? Oh here we go with one, right here.
    – Yup. – There he is, get the
big one, get the big one. Here just he ate it, double. They’re both little. They’re both little Dwayne I
wouldn’t even worry about it. (reel screeching) – That a boy. Double
double in the morning. First two fish we saw
believe it or not. We actually stuck them and neither one of
them are what we need. But it’s a start. Good job Dwayne. – [Announcer] The IFA
Redfish Tour is presented to you by Bass Pro and Cabela’s The Adventure Starts Here. By Range Boats, still building
legends one at a time. And by Mercury
Outboards, Go Boldy. Welcome back to IFA
Championship coverage. We’re about an hour outside
of Hopedale, Louisiana. With the day one leaders, Ryan Rickard and Dustin Tillett. – Yeah actually it said if
we really survive day one, and have a shot day two, we feel like we’re
gonna be in a good spot because we have no sight
fishing conditions yesterday. Which we will really
need where we’re going, we had really blustery
windy conditions, the water was murked up so today I feel like we’re
gonna be in better spot cause we got blue bird skies, lot lower winds the flag isn’t
moving like it was yesterday, So we should have pretty
good opportunity today. (dramatic music) (reel screeching) – [Ryan] There you go, Oh shoot. Hold on there, watch yourself. (reel screeching) – [Ryan] Back on. (reel screeching and splashing) – [Dustin] It’s a good fish. – Yes.
    – Good fish! – Bro he came back and ate
that after he spit you. – Yeah I can’t
believe that, come on. – [Ryan] He’s there all
    day 26 and a quarter. – That’s one,
probably seven, eight seven, eight at the
scale at the weigh in. That’s not a bad
start for a fish. It’s good he was hungry, ate a second time. – Did you see him dude, as soon as my bait landed
he turned right to it. – [Dustin] Crazy. – He’s alright you think?
    – Yeah. – Alright. Good spot right
there, good spot. Good spot. (dramatic guitar music) – There’s something – [Kevin] Which one
you want left or right? – [Dwayne] I want
whatever one eats me. Get the other one,
get the other one. Get the other one. (reels screeching) – [Kevin] Dwayne
you’re a vine bub. – [Dwayne] Yeah I know. – [Kevin] Give me your
rod, give me your rod. Oh you can’t give me your rod. – I got em, I got em. I got em. I got em. I’m just gonna hold em. – Where is the net at? – [Dwayne] The
net’s in the back. – Where you at bub? Are you on the troll motor? – [Dwayne] Yes. You got em? – [Kevin] I got em. Come get em. I got a fish on. – [Dwayne] Go
ahead drop the net. I got it. Go ahead. – [Kevin] Come on bub.
I gotta stand on it. – [Dwayne] I’m on
the net I’m on it. (reel screeching) – [Ryan] Come here guy. – [Dwayne] Coming at
you when you’re ready. – [Ryan] He’s coming at you. Watch yourself, you got him on film? Alright coming around. This one measures
right here we need him. That one measures we
need him real bad. That would be a nine
pounder if he measures. Hey I wanted to let you know, the sooner I hears him Dwayne. We need him real bad right now. God I don’t know man. Think he’s gonna be over. Where’s the bubbies at? Throw him in there real quick so I can get her mouth. What you got right there? – [Dwayne] Is he was a bogus? – Put him over here please. – [Dwayne] Naw he’s
good he’s good. – Yeah but. He’s bigger than what
we have right now. (water splashing) Here you ready for bogus? He’s gonna measure easy. Yes Dwayne weight him. Hand me the net. That’s a fricken eight pounder right there dude
    – No the fish ain’t six pounds. Seven. – [Ryan] Oh he ain’t
six pounds huh? (metal clanging) – [Ryan] I don’t think this
one’s gonna make it actually. He’s over bub
    – Yeah that’s cool. He’s over
    – Yeah throw him away. – Later brother, thanks for playing. He gone. – [Dwayne] Well we got
two now we can call. – [Ryan] Ya I don’t believe
that fish was 24 inches. That fish was
seven even or what? – [Dwayne] You could
see over seven. How much was yours worth? – [Ryan] He’s
probably another half. – [Dwayne] Why don’t you
catch shorter fish dude. – [Announcer] Mid-way
through the morning, and both our featured teams
have in the live well. Stay with us there’s lot more
tournament coverage ahead from Southern Louisiana and day two of the IFA
Redfish Tour Championship presented by Cabela’s. The IFA Redfish Tour presented
    by Cabela’s is also brought to you in part by;
    Power-Pole Shallow Water Anchor
    System.Swift, silent, secure, by Penn Reels;
let the battle begin, and by Hobie Kayaks. – [Announcer] Welcome
back to the final day of the IFA Redfish
Tour Championship from Southern Louisiana. Getting right back into
tournament coverage we’ll pick it up with Ryan
Rickard and Dustin Tillett. – [Kyle] Back at
the original spot, hoping to make
something happen because We aint’ got much more time. Hopefully we can see one
pop up in front of us and stick him. Hoping he’s eight
and a half or better. That’s what we need. – [Dustin] I’m right behind him. Go ahead go ahead. (casting) (reel screeching) – [Ryan] Oh no! How does that happen? – [Dustin] There
he is right there. – Watch out
    – There he is. Got him.
(reel screeching) – [Dustin] I’m look for
the other one for a sec. – [Ryan] We need another
fish in that well. Oh no we’re about to
be on this crab trap. – [Dustin] See the other one? – [Ryan] No I’m looking. – [Dustin] Look
    for the other one. It’s a good fish. – [Ryan] That’s a
slot fish buddy. – [Dustin] Yeah I know. You ready? (splashing) – [Ryan] B slot. – Please be slot.
    – B slot. Be in there. It’s too big god dang it. It’s fricken big. – [Dustin] No he’s in
there he’s in there. – Are we sure?
    – Yeah 100% look. – [Ryan] He’s there all day. – 100%.
    – He’s there all day.
    – Yes. – Get him in the fricken well. – [Dustin] You
wanna tag him or no? – Just put him in
the well for now. Measure him, put
him in the well. – [Dustin] Are we weighing? – Yeah. – This thing has a hold of me. Holy cow. Eight and three quarters. _ Alright get him
in there quick. Yeah baby! – Nice, nice, nice. – [Ryan] Frick yeah. – [Dustin] This other
have a ball on him? – [Ryan] Yeah other
one’s got a ball on him. (exhale) (laughing)
    – That is huge. – Yeah boy. Come on! We need one more. – That is huge. – Fricken one more. One more like that one, – Dude that’s the same
fish that spit me. – I know. – Frick it came
right back to me. I pitched right there
and he’s like ah! – That’s what I’m talking about. Doesn’t get any
better than that. Nice job. – [Announcer] After sacking
up 17.78 on day one, Rickard and Tillett
have another good limit but will it hold up? Getting back to
Akin and Eschete, they got two for
maybe 16 pounds. And time is becoming a factor. – He’s right here he’s
snaking going down and away from us. – He just went that way. – No no hold on. He’s right here, see him? Still right here,
you got eyes on him? – [Dwayne] Yeah I
saw him go that way. (splashing and reel screeching) – [Kevin] Got a pull. Got a pull. (splashing) – [Kevin] It’s good one Dwayne. – [Dwayne] Yeah
give me a second. – Come on baby, measure. Come on baby measure.
Come on baby measure. Come on baby measure.
Come on baby measure. If this one ain’t gonna measure, we’re gonna let him go okay? (metal clanging) – [Kevin] Hold the
board up for me please? Can you hand me the denture? – [Dwight] Kevin he’s
good right there. – [Kevin] You good with it? – [Dwight] I’m good with it, hey you going for
the win or the loss? – Alright you need
ice the live one down. We’re going for the win,
we’re going for the win. I mean he’s right
there on the line, We’re letting go
a seven and a half or eight and three quarters. It’s on the line. So we’re throwing away
    – Put him in here Put him in here. Put him in here.
    – What are you doing? Just think about
this we got time. – Huh?
    – We got time. How much do you think
the other fish weighed? – The one we just
put in the boat? About a nine, nine
and a quarter. – Yeah. Okay we got a nine and a quarter, and seven and a half
    – And a quarter. – Seven and a half. Okay what’d you come up with? – I don’t know you
do the math, tell me. – Nine and a quarter, and seven and a half, we’re 16 and three quarters. – Kay
    – Kay. Or you got 17 and
three quarters. – Legitimately. – We most probably most
ways than we had yesterday. – Yeah. – I’m with it. – Okay. Get rid of him. – We are gonna throw away, guys this is what
happens on the water when you fish in tournaments. This is where it
all comes into play. We gotta make a decision here. We got a eight
and three quarter, and a nine and quarter okay? That’ll give us
right at 18 pounds. Right Kevin? – [Kevin] Yup. – Eighteen that gives us
right at eighteen pounds. That gives us a shot to win. This fish right here, this fish right
here is gonna put us in second or third place. I mean would you think Kevin? – [Kevin] Yeah that fish is – Yeah that fish is-
    – Seven and a half is gonna be top
    – Top five for sure. – Yeah it’ll give
us a top five okay? We’re not fishing
for team of the year, this is about television okay? It’s about us wanting to win. It’s about television, we’re going for it. We’re swinging for the fence. He made it three times Kevin? – [Kevin] He’s right there. – He’s right there. Hey I’m gonna show you what
a real good fish looks like. Guys this is, this is a legit seven
and a half pound fish that’s what 25.5
inches, 25 inches. You see him? Kiss em! (mimics kiss) (kisses) Thank you, there goes some
money right there. This is our money we
letting go right here. – [Kevin] Letting
money go right now. – But you know what? He’s gonna swim off
and somebody else is gonna be able to catch him. Well decisions made. – There goes a check. That’s what you say, you let that one
go, that’s a check. You’re making money, might
have a chance to win. That hey, you’re just coin flip. – [Announcer] Go big or go home. Akin and Eschete are
putting it all on the line. Will it pay off? Stay with us coming up we’ll
head to the final weigh in. It’s championship time. – [Announcer] The IFA
Redfish Tour is presented by Bass Pro and Cabela’s, The Adventure Starts Here. Humminbird, Clearer,
Lighter, Brighter, Faster. By Minn Kota Trolling Motors, Anywhere, Anytime. And by Berkley Gulp! Welcome back to Hopedale Marina. It’s been an incredible
two days of fishing here in Louisiana and now it’s time to
head to the scales. On day one Kevin Akin
and Dwayne Eschete weight two for 17.60. They got another
limit on day two, adding 17.71 for a
total weight of 35.31. With just a handful of
teams left to weigh, Akin and Eschete are
your new leaders. Casey Brunning and
Ty Hibbs are chasing both the championship and the Team of the Year title with a two day total of 33.12 they did lock up
the Team of the Year and finished up the
season in fourth overall. Britt Ordes and Travis Land
won this event in 2016, they made another
serious run at this year with a two day total of 33.65 finishing out in third. And now there’s only
one team left to weigh. Ryan Rickard and Dustin Tillett, We’ll turn it over to
Tournament Director Keith Green for the call. – First fish 8.18, 8.18 and then let’s take
a look what’s gonna take to take to lead. Alright it’s gonna
be a little 9.35. Alright let’s set him on there and see what we got. Second fish, it’s a dandy though. 8.92 on that second fish. 8.92 that means these
guys are your winners here let me get this totaled. – It was great you know, when you lead fish
in a tournament, everyone’s you know
vision is to win. When we left to go
fishing on Friday we had no expectations honestly. We knew we was gonna go, Honestly we didn’t even know
where we were going really. – You might not known
where you were going. – (laughs)
    – I knew where I was going. (laughs) – What’d I tell you? – We went on Friday, we went Friday to that spot. And we caught a nine
pound of pre-fish. – And eight and three quarter.
    – And an eight and three quarter. And he was like bro I
got this don’t worry about it. It’s done. So I’m like yeah whatever, I’ve seen finished
the tide changed and everything changed and I’m like yeah whatever. So we went pre-fishing
everywhere else and didn’t find nothing
at all, nothing. He went back over there one day and he was like man
it’s not really as good as what it was. So I’m in a panic mode like oh well I guess we
just gonna have fun then we go home on
Friday night, whatever. And he said, naw man
it’s gonna be okay. It’s gonna be okay. I had no expectations going out. – Well I mean unlike him I had expectations I mean, my goal for day
one was 18 pounds. I knew it was there it’s just, with those things they were more scattered out than
I wanted them to be, but I felt like we
could get it done and we got lucky on both days to catch what what we caught, like everybody else does. You say it’s luck you
gotta get bit right and catch the right fish. And we rolled the
dice today on a fish that I normally wouldn’t
roll the dice on. And that’s why
we’re sitting here. He made the decision
on what to bring in the fish that I would have
caught marginal measured. And that’s a difference
of a term that sometimes you have to do that. I don’t normally, I
normally don’t do that. Bring in what measures
you make more money. But I’m glad we did.
    – It measured. – [Announcer] There you have it. Kevin Akin and Dwayne
Eschete are your 2018 IFA Redfish Tour Champions. Here’s a look at the
rest of the Top 10. And for our final
order of business, Casey Brunning and Ty Hibbs won the points race for
Team of the Year. Picking up trophies and an additional $5,000
for their efforts. – It’s pretty awesome I mean that’s what everybody
shoots for out here. Of course to win
each tournament to but like I told Casey this year and like we;’ve
talked about all year. Trying to achieve our
goal every tournament, it paid off finally and
we’re happy to be here. – [Announcer] That’ll
do for another season of the IFA Redfish
Tour presented by Cabela’s. For schedules and registration
for the 2019 season, look us up at ifatours.com Or keep an eye on
our Facebook page. (upbeat music) – [Announcer] This has been
a Careco TV presentation, thanks for watching and
we’ll see you next time. (explosion)

Dolphin Swims Alongside Sailboat In S.F. Bay

    September 22, 2019

A SURPRISING SIGHT IN STPRAáPB — SAN FRANCISCO BAY AND IT WAS QUITE A TREAT. JOE LOPEZ TELLS US WHAT CAME LEAPING OUT OF THE WATER RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM. Reporter: THEY WERE RAISING THEIR SAILBOAT THIS WEEKEND. THREE SAILORS OF THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY JUST SOUTH OF THE BAY BRIDGE, SUDDENLY THEY WERE JOINED BY A BOTTLE NOSE DOLPHIN WHO STARTED PLAYFULLY DOING FLIPS ALONGSIDE. WHAT DO YOU — WHAT IS GOING THROUGH YOUR MIND WHEN HE COMES OUT OF THE WATER. I THINK YOU CAN HEAR IT IN THE VIDEO. JUST SHRIEKS OF GLEE. BECAUSE WE THOUGHT HE WAS JUST GOING TOO THAT FOR A FEW SECONDS. BUT THEN HE WOULD COME BACK UP. Reporter: BOTTLE NOSE DOLPHINS ARE NOT AS COMMON. THERE’S 600 ALONG THE ENTIRE STATE COASTLINE BUT WHAT IS RARE IS CAMPING THEM ON VIDEO FROLICKING AT THE BOW OF A BOAT. IT WAS HILARIOUS. SO EXCITING AND IT JUST TICKLED US. I WAS LAUGHING BECAUSE OF MY CREWS REACTION AND THEY WERE LAUGHING BECAUSE OF MY REACTION. DO YOU THINK THE DOLPHIN THEN STARTED PERFORMING FOR YOU. I THINK IT DID. I THINK HE WAS EXCITED BY HER LITTLE CACKLING. HER SQUEALING. THAT WAS YOU. SHE WAS THE SQUEALER, I WAS THE LAUGHER. IT WAS A BUCKET LIST THING FOR ME TO SEE DOLPHINS IN THE BOW. AND I DIDN’T THINK IT WOULD -P HAPPEN. I’M GLAD SHE GOT THE VIDEO BECAUSE I GET TO LOOK BACK AND SAY, YEAH IT WAS THAT AMAZING. THAT’S QUITE THE CACKLE THERE ON THAT BOAT. VERY BEAUTIFUL. THEY’RE AWESOME ANIMALS. THAT’S THE PLACE YOU WANT TO BE.

    Jar Lid Sailboat Craft

    September 22, 2019

Today, I am proposing a boat race! The sailboats in this race are rather special since they are made from recycled jar lids. When you have an empty jar of mustard, olives
or an other container, keep the lid! Preferably, it should be a metallic lid. You can decorate the inside of the lid you
have chosen either with straight lines or zigzags, dots, or a solid coat of paint. While the paint dries, prepare the mast and
sails. Choose a straw in a colour of your choice
and cut it to an appropriate height relative to the size of the lid. A mast that is too high might unbalance your
sailboat while a mast that is too short might look
weird. That’s for you to judge! To make the sails, I suggest you use sheets
of foam. Take a corner of a sheet of foam and draw
a triangle according to the size of the mast. When you are satisfied, cut the sail. Take the straw that you have already cut to
length and make a slit along the straw to be able to insert the sail. For the first sail, make the slit from the
top of the mast downward so that the cut is slightly longer than the
height of the sail. That will allow you to add a little flag at
the top if you want. Slide the sail into the slit. Draw a triangle on a sheet of foam of another
colour to form a second sail. You can make the second sail of the same size
as the first or not. In my case, I decided to make it smaller.
Cut out the sail. Make a slit along the mast on the side opposite
the first sail but this time start to cut from the bottom. I made a long enough slit so that the bottom
of the sail will be at the same height as the largest sail. Slide the sail in place. To complete, you can even cut out a small
flag and insert it above the main sail. Why use foam sheets instead of paper for the
sails? If your boat sinks and the sails are made
of foam, you simply remove the water from the lid and
you are ready to play again! If the sails were made out of paper, they
would be soaked. If you want, you can glue the sails in place
with white glue. To finish your ship, glue the mast in the
centre of the lid with hot glue. Hold in place until the mast is securely fastened. I tried to do this project with different
sizes of lids. The smaller the lid, the shorter the mast
should be. For the smallest lid, I put only one sail. When you are in a group, you can organize
sailboat races! To have a race, you will need a wooden dowel
of about 30 cm or 12 inches long for each boat. Paint the dowel in a colour
of your choice. When the paint is dry, take a self adhesive
neodymium magnet and glue it on the tip of the dowel. If you used a plastic lid to create your sailboat,
glue a neodymium magnet to one side of the boat but be careful to
turn it so that it is attracted by the magnet at the end of the dowel. Take a large container filled with water and
divide it into lanes to organize a sailboat race. Pull your boat using the magnetized dowel…
but beware, you are not allowed to touch the boat with
the dowel. You must only use the strength of the magnet
to move your boat! Have a lot of fun with your sailboat races! To print the document with illustrated instructions, click on the link below the video and visit

    projects!
